Nice fridge but it is loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this fridge from factory about 1 month ago. We have had it now for about a week. Like the design and layout of the fridge. Ice maker works well and produces ice quickly. Lots of room on the fridge side but the freezer side is quite small. Not problem with this fridge is it is very noisy. Brought out a Whirlpool repair person just to make sure all was okay with it. We were told that is the way this fridge sounds and it was okay. Had we been able to hear it run before we bought it we would not have bought this fridge. Runs way to often and is really quite loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful Refrigerator/Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to wait a few months before reviewing because often people write reviews after just a few days and let's face it, almost every purchase is great initially. It's after you've had it a while that the real up sides and down sides reveal themselves. Well, I'm happy to say that there have only been up sides with this purchase! We are happy with every aspect of this. It looks as nice now as when it was delivered. It does not fingerprint easily. It's taken very little effort to keep it looking like it was just on a showroom floor. It holds temperatures on both the refrigerator and freezer sides. The ice and water dispensers work easily and don't drip or release additional cubes or fluid, which I was concerned about because there is no drain, but Whirlpool knew what it was doing. None is needed. The lighting is such that there isn't a dim or dark spot anywhere when you're looking to find that small leftover that's calling your name as a bedtime snack. The vegetable and fruit drawers have been excellent at keeping produce longer than our old refrigerator. As big fresh fruit and vegetable eaters, it had been so frustrating finding that some things needed to be tossed before we could eat them with the cost of produce being so high. All this and it's quieter and the biggest plus of all...our electric bill has actually been less than it was not only in any of the corresponding months in the previous year but in any of the months on either side of that month. And we checked this against all the months that we've owned this refrigerator so I don't think that's just a fluke. Even if it is, all the other pluses are enough to make this a "no regrets" purchase in my book.

Nice looking but a little loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had it a month but I haven't had any problems with it. The freezer is smaller than my old one but I feel I can see everything better. The refrigerator side is great, lots of drawers and shelves. Wish you could adjust the shelves though.
