Nice TV but problems with sound bar

Nice features and great picture, but have constant problems with a non-samsung sound bar. It is connected via HDMI ARC, but It doesn't recognize it every time I turned the TV. Reset the settings a couple of time with tech support and works at the time, but next morning it's hit or miss whether it's still working. I need to unplug, wait 20 seconds, and plug in again and that usual works. Otherwise, I try again. Very frustrating.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

The TV sound will always default to the last state the TV was in when the TV was turned off.

So for example, if the TV was in HDMI ARC output mode to an external soundbar when it was turned off, then it will return to that same state when it is turned back on (it will turn on the soundbar). However, if the TV was in internal speaker mode when the TV was turned off, then when you turn the TV back on, it will default to internal TV speakers (it will not turn on the soundbar back on).

I like the tv but there problems

It is one problem you turn the TV off and come back turn TV on and it does not keep connection to the Internet .So you have it you have to go through the whole process of re-connecting to the Internet sometimes it takes two or three times. It also it sometimes takes two or three times to turn on the tv. That dose get frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great...when it works

Everything seemed great about this TV at first (I bought it from the prior tenant of my current apartment). However I started getting connectivity issues, maybe once a week. Now I'm at the point where I'm resetting the connection and reconnecting at least a few times a day. I can't even use certain apps anymore like Sling (which i've tested on my laptop at the same time with zero issues) the program will freeze or on Netflix the audio randomly cuts out.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good TV but needs Setup after delivery

The TV is very nice, the sound actually pleasantly surprised me, very nice for such small speakers.
There are few unexplained drawback though... The TV is shipped with HRD+ disabled.. so you'd need to manually enable it, so does bluetooth - same, not enabled but exists.
Most disappointing is the lack of 5gHz wifi, for this model year it seems old not to include dual band wifi.
After tinkering with the settings and learning how to go deep into the settings it actually very good TV with a very nice high quality picture.
Pros: Realistic color, Built-in speakers
Cons: no dual band wifi support, no active bluetooth, require pro setup
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible tv

Tv will not stop rebooting. You cannon even complete the setup which is required to get a call back from Samsung. Once you get it to a point where you can go to the home screen and pull up Netflix, it will play for a few minutes and then start rebooting again. Don't plan on watching a whole show with this one. I have 2 other Samsung tvs I really like which is why I tried this one. Expensive mistake.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TV defect -very thin vertical line down the screen

I bought this TV ONE DAY AGO (yesterday) and I brought it home it looked great and then upon further inspection I noticed a vertical line down my brand new TV. I did not but stores Warranty b/c i was told there is a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. It was a Christmas/Birthday present and now I can't help but focus on the line while others don't see it as much I see it constantly clearly. I am extremely upset as it was a big ticket item for me. I fully expect for this to be covered but it is a huge hassle and disappointment after having been a loyal long time Samsung (multiple televisions 55" ) and phones etc. for years,

Kind Disappointed

It’s my fault for not asking for more information such as is it Bluetooth compatible? But being that it’s a Samsung “SMART TV”, I thought that it would have that simple feature but NOPE. Now it’s just turning on and off and every button on all remotes just turns it off....REALLY?
