bought as a glorified monitor - needs improvement

Using this as a glorified monitor for my surface book 2 desk setup with a dock. My wife uses her surface pro 4 with it connected to the same dock.
Although this is one of the better response time 4k TVs right now (15ms for game mode) and is one of a few 40 inch in samsungs tvs in the lineup for 2018... I hate sacrificing the colour and 120hz with game mode but it is what it is.
anyways here are my gripes...
why the heck is Bluetooth removed in 2018 for 7100 series. Last year even the 6900 series had Bluetooth. My bedroom has the 40 inch 6900 from 2017 and it is awesome to use a true wireless earbud or headphone at night while my wife sleeps. worked flawlessly and the delay was so minimal it was great.
I'm using this 40 inch as a monitor in the den but it also has a Apple TV 4K and a Xbox One X hooked up for game time.
Couldn't go to 6000 series as they only have 2 HDMI and I needed 3 for my setup and couldn't go up to 8000 series because they start at 50 inches which is too big for a desk to look at but would have Bluetooth. I would actually buy the 2017 40inch 6900 series if I can find it... need that BT for late night youtube... anyways. may end up returning this TV because it came close but not close enough I think...
3 stars. If it had bluetooth 4 stars. if it could manage 5-10ms quicker at movie mode... 5 stars. 6 stars if there was a 36 inch version of the tv with all those specs :)

The router is directly below the tv in the console. It loses connection every single day. The time it takes to reboot everything at least once a day is more than annoying. I will absolutely never buy Samsung again.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations

As far as an entry level 4K TV goes, this is great! The colors are vibrant, for a VN panel, the speakers are surprisingly decent. The brightness is also pretty good. It's not on the level of an OLED panel as far as blacks and color accuracy, but it's really good. I got the 65" for my bedroom, stupid yes, but it's really a good size. I highly recommend this tv. The only real complaint I have is I could use maybe 2 more HDMI inputs for the future, blu-ray player, PC and Fire stick and I'm out of inputs. . .

Beautiful TV

My wife and I just purchased the 58” Samsung NU7100 in replacement of a 55” LG UJ6200 and cannot be more happier with this TV! The Samsung NU7100 is much heavier of a TV but the sound and picture quality beat the LG UJ6200 dramatically. 4K channels feel like you are actually viewing things in person with its 60fps as well as the 120 motion rate. Super impressed with the kind of bass you get from the Samsung NU7100 built in speakers and cannot even imagine what a sound bar would do to improve the sound. I don’t find the angled viewing to alter the image quality/colour as much as lower raters have mentioned. Pretty amazing TV (best bang for your buck) and look forward to continue purchasing Samsung TV’s in the future!

I bought this TV on Black Friday for the awesome price of $399.99! I've never owned a Samsung TV before, but after this I don't think I'll ever go with another brand. I'm very happy with everything from the sound quality to the picture clarity this TV is superb! I've owned Vizio, Sanyo, LG TV's and was happy for the most part but all had their pro's and con's. If I had to pick out one thing I personally don't like it would be the 2 legs that mount to the TV to keep it upright. I've never been a fan of that design as I like the stand that mounts in the center of the TV vs. the one on each side but that is just my personal preference. WOULD RECOMMEND 100%

The TV is very beautiful but it keeps kicking me out from the wifi! All my other stuff is working through the internet so I'm certain its the TV. I already went through the trouble shoot steps and no luck!...BUMMER, need to call Samsung now. -_-
