Great picture! Terrible hook-ups!

Picture is outstanding, even on the 60s TV shows. Sometimes I think it is fake. The issues I have with this TV are:
1) The lack of RCA jacks for stereo hook-ups. Since I have an older receiver, I have to EITHER buy a bunch of RCA to HDMI adapters OR new stereo gear. This turns out to be added cost. I would only recommend this to a friend IF they have a modern up-to-date receiver.
2) Why are the speakers rear facing?? Surely TV manufacturing could have come up with a built-in swivel speaker so that the sound comes at you instead of toward the wall or better yet, speaker outputs directly to the TV so that you don't have to go through a receiver/amplifier.
3)Finally, your instruction manual does not give out the passcode to allow my Direct TV remote to take over the volume functions. What is that passcode?

Please know that the speakers are not rear-facing, but are mounted on the front chassis and are down-firing for delivering optimal output for the integrated 20W 2CH Dolby speakers.

HULU LIVE NO GO!!

I bought this tv for Christmas and have loved it, until I tried to watch HULU live on it. According to Hulu, this tv is deprecated and can not support live hulu. If Hulu and Samsung would get together to figure this out, this tv would get a 5 star rating from me, as everything else with it seems to be working out well.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Faulty product with a year life span

I've seen a few other reviews claiming the same thing and maybe I should have taken the warnings, the TV was bought dec 2018 and just before today a the end of dec 2019 the TV has developed a large dark area and I suspect it just passed warranty, good game.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Had this TV for about 1 year and just went bad —it comes on without picture and turns on/off continuously — I will never buy a Samsung product again

had this tv for a month so the longevity of it i cant say but this has been the best tv ive ever owned. ive gone with a bunch of other brands in the past and this one beats the quality on picture and color on them all. the detail is amazing and the menus are so easy to navigate. the apps all work and stream nice love the extra free tv channels you get also

This TV was the easiest TV to hook up and use. No programing my remote. Basically turned it on and it was ready to go. I would of given it a 5 star rating but the picture quality is terrible when viewing it from a angle. All the colors get washed out and faces look white. Head on picture quality is fabulous. I would say any viewing from more than 20 - 30 degrees picture is poor.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, easy hook up
Cons: Did not meet expectations, picture quality at an angle is poor

I was looking for a good 4k tv with a reasonable price and i bought this one and im so happy i used with Netflix and the image quality is very good i recomended
