Awesome pictures

This is an awesome quality for the price. At times we feel like we can skip a rock across the lake on the tv, or Fly pass the moon with ET. Even our blu ray movies picture look ten times better. Love this tv.

Places Ads on the Home Screen, you can't disable

Had an older Samsung flat screen TV. Loved it. Bought this new TV, and there are ADS on the home screen. I love it when i spend hundreds of dollars on something to be shown ads which I can't disable. To have pre-installed apps which I can't delete. Unbelievable. Will probably return tomorrow, but not before writing a terrible review anywhere I can find.

Lack of DLNA and DTS support

The video is awesome. If you are going to just connect to established streaming services like Hulu & Netfilx along with HDMI inputs then this TV is for you.
If you are a do it yourself type of watcher and use Plex, Serviio and other 3rd party DLNA streaming services then stay away from this TV. It does not support DLNA or the DTS audio codec.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display

Please know that this NU7100 TV does support DLNA.
However, it is possible that when sharing content with other network-based devices such as those in an IP (Internet Protocol) storage system, the function may not be supported due to the network’s configuration, quality, or functionality, for example, if the network has an NAS (Network-Attached Storage) device.

No dts sound supported

First time in Samsung these models not supported dts audio formate .due to this mostly movie's in my drive is not compatible with this,imagine only picture no sound what rubbish
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality

Spotty Wifi not good for streaming live

This TV does not support 5ghz wifi connection. It only supports 2.4ghz. As a result, streaming quality is spotty at best. There are many TVs in this price range that support both wifi connections. I have called in to Samsung multiple times to ask their reps which wifi connection it supports, and I have been given different answers. Frustrating.

Please know that the location of your wireless access point will affect your signal strength. Please place your router in a central location ensuring the distance between the TV and your router does not exceed 50ft. (15.2m). Interference from other wireless devices, stone walls, and appliances like microwaves could possibly weaken Wi-Fi signal.

I purchased this Samsung 40" Class NU7100 Smart 4K UHD TV and I'm so glad I did. The picture is so clear and the sound is great! I truly recommend it, also the price was very fair.

I received my TV 6 days ago. I am really enjoying my TV. There are a few things that make me wish I could've affored a better model. I would loved to have Bluetooth for my headphones or a headphone jack I could have put a transmitter into. I would also have liked a lighted remote.
Other than the previous mentioned things I love my new TV! It has a sharp picture and good sound. I am still learning how to operate all the smart features.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Seems to just have problems.

Have used it for 2 months and the bleeding of the back light from the edges is just getting worse with use. I can understand a little, but time seems to be destroying the TV. Thus it must be poor quality, or quality control is bad, or both to allow a failure onto the market. Currently under review for request of warranty.
