WIFI is terrible!

Just recieved this TV and the WIFI is terrible. This is my first Samsung TV that will NOT recognize a hidden network. Even if the network revealed, the WIFI performance is spotty. It sometimes needs to be reset which means having to re-enter your network info all over again.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the experience.
If your NU7100 TV is far from the router, we recommend a repeater or extender
If your home is in an apartment or condo, the 2.4ghz signals around the area can interfere with your WiFi network when streaming video. Keeping the router close to the TV and switch to the 5ghz network when possible can minimize the interference.
I hope these tips help to solve the WiFi issue.

On Sale - good deal

I had a 2014 Samsung (excellent) model die on me a few months ago and I replaced it with this. Though this seems much bigger in size (prior tv was a 55 and I actually notice a difference with this-probably because the stand is taller), which I like, the quality as far as picture is not much better. I actually prefer my older model which had 3D (wish Samsung didn't stop producing model with 3D) and a FAAAAAAAAAR more advanced tv remote. The tv remote on this 58 inch model feels archaic! Most current tvs by other companies have remotes that are similar to using a mouse or like a projector remote so why didn't Samsung do this for this model? My 2014 Samsung model had this feature plus voice control and made it much easier to type in text on screen...was it from the future? WHAT happened?
At the sale price I got it for, it was a good deal. Would not by this at regular or a higher price because the product is average. I really wish my old Samsung 2014 led model was still working-I miss it but this will do until whatever happens (because you know they only make tvs to last like iPhones - 2 to 4 years smh).
Pros: Inexpensive, Built-in speakers
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second Samsung, no regrets

I purchased this TV to replace an aging Samsung 46" LCD TV. This unit has kept the hi quality benchmark my 46" set 10 years ago. Picture quality is great. Good TV if you dropped cable/dish. Most major online providers are supported, and the menu system is fairly easy to navigate snd customize.
2 months in, and zero issues.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

Does not have a constant sound you have to change volume for different forms of entertainment such as netflix or sometimes just another channel.Great picture.

I bought my 55'' four days ago and am still getting impressed with it every day, when I try something new. I had an RCA 42" and having the 55" is so much better. Now about the picture and color, all I can say is wow. The picture is crisp and clear and the color is so vibrant, at times the picture looks like a live video feed. So to anyone looking to purchase a new tv, this is the tv to get. Easy set up,great quality,and reasonable price

All my older tvs pick up 63 channels Digital Air. This TV only gets 42 with same antenna feed. Real disappointment not getting channels we view daily.
