Marvelous Printer

I received the Canon Pixma G2200 printer as a sample and I am amazed by this printer. The G2200 is compact and light. I am able to move it around with no problem. The set up was easy with the step by step directions that are easy to understand and follow. The printed documents come out quick and in great quality. The colors are sharp and there were no smudges or marks. The borderless printing is a great feature. For printing photos, I recommend changing the setting to photo versus general – the colors come out bolder. This printer comes with refillable liquid tanks versus cartridges, which saves money and lasts longer. The G2200 makes copies very quickly and comes with a great scanner. I highly recommend this printer to anyone. It is a great machine.

Disappointing picture quality

Pictures are grainy, lines not sharp, colors washed out. Other reviewers that loved the picture quality must not have high standards. Our older Pixma MG5220 was much better and we wish it hadn't died the ubiquitous U052 printhead failure.

I imagine this must be great on Windows. Doesn't work on other operating systems though. I was confused I guess in thinking that in 2017, we would still have devices that are engineered to not speak to each other.

I received a free sample of this printer in order to provide my honest opinion. I can honestly state that this is the best printer I have ever used in my life. The printing effect is actually very quiet. It's a fairly quick printer and the quality isn't bad either. I also love the richness in the colors displayed when printing paper. The “My Image Garden” is my favorite feature simply because I have the ability to customize my photos to my discretion. The assembly process was very simple. I followed the directions provided and was able to assemble the product in a timely fashion without frustration.
I have to admit that I did not expect for this printer to be this detailed. The quality is beyond excellent and is worth every dollar spent towards this product. The only improvement I would make is to decrease the size of the machinery. It is pretty big. Shoot…even the box is huge. Its not a knock on the product. It is just something that would be better for me in order to give it a space that would not be out of place in my domain.
I wouldn't just recommend this product to my family and friends. I would recommend this product to the President if I could do it. It is that great of a product. I am proud to be an owner of quality and will make sure to spread the word to everyone in need of a printer that will withstand the hands of time and uphold a performance one would seek in the future. With this product, the future is now.
