PIXMA G2200 Megatank Printer

I received this printer free to review.
Overall, a very nice printer. The concept of built-in ink tanks is a good one.
Printer quality is good overall. Print output was on par with other printers in the class. Photo printing was better than another model from the same manufacturer. Black and white print speed was as advertised.
One drawback is no WIFI. For a printer of this price not to have WIFI was a bit startling. Not a huge issue, though.
Scanning was as expected, producing sharp results.
Overall a nice device. Do not try to stand the included ink bottles (or any refills) up to let them drain into the tanks. They don`t do that. They will promptly fall over, and ink will go where do DEFINITELY don`t want it.
No worries about not being able to replace the print-heads. Those are replaceable, as well.
If I were looking for this particular type of device, I would buy it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer until you get the error code

Had this printer 3 years. Worked great until I got an error code. Said the ink absorber was full. The only thing is you will need to take it for repair to clear the error code. Cost to repair is equal to a new printer. Will not print until you get it repaired. Too bad because everything else on it is still working fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Prints look great!

I received this printer to review and I have to say that I immediately got rid of my previous printer. The setup was pretty simple, although I had to pay close attention to the instructions, when I can normally do without. The printed product is amazing, my prints came out very vivid and without the ink transfer that many printers have. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this printer!

Canon Pixma G2200 Megajet All in one printer is an amazing piece of technology. It is very sleek & compact. It fits perfectly on my desk. It has everything that I need. The setup was very easy as the given directions were clear.
I have used this printer for about a week now, mostly for personal work. I’m very pleased with its quality & speed. The Black & white copies are very crisp, the colored documents are great as well. The pictures came out rich & vivid. I absolutely love the borderless printing. The scanner works great as well.
So, overall I Love the concept of Megajet, It’s a game changer. I’m definitely saving $$. I recommend this to everyone.

Print quality great! Love the ink tanks and coat of refills!! Sad to say the photo quality is lacking. Everything has a mud like tone to it. I am currently experimenting with different photo papers and have Canon photo paper on order (non of the local outlets carry Canon paper) Hopefully I'll be able to come back and say that the paper made it all work. Always loved Canon print quality I'm sure It's just a mater of getting the right materials.

Amazing new machine!

I recently received the Canon Pixma G2200 printer as a sample and wow what a printer! Not only was the set up super easy, but the documents I needed printed out flawlessly and in vivid color. I often need to create spreadsheets in various layouts and have had issues in the past with skip marks or just plain drab color. This is certainly not the case with the Canon Pixma G2200! This machine also comes with full scanning capabilities which has allowed me to do away with my old scanner and the use of two machines. The G2200 is also compact enough that you can easily fit it on your desk without feeling like it has taken over the entire space. Canon has also done away with expensive, bulky, ink cartridges for the Pixma G2200, as it comes complete with refillable ink tanks. They are so easy to use and take up much less space on the machine itself which alllows for its compact size. Even after using this machine for only a few days I would already highly recommend this printer.

I received a free printer to review and test out....I love how clear it prints...The quality is great....It also prints fast....
However I would like the option to select number of copies to be physically on printer....I have to press the print button the number of copies I want...it's just my preference... It's simple I guess that way...but I want a button physical on printer for me to select when copying or scanning...overall it's a very good printer...m
