Cute playset for Hatchimals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter was super excited to get the Hatchimal playset. She actually cheered when she saw it. She has quite a few hatchimals and was very excited to have a playset to go with them. It's very cute, however it opens and closes a little clunky. It clicks a lot and you sometimes have to force the sides open. She played with the playset for a couple of days but has since forgot about it. I assume she will play with it again in the future but it's not a toy that she always wants to play with .

Great toy for my daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to have the Easter Bunny deliver this Hatchimal Egg to my 7 year old. She was very excited to open it and see its contents. The packaging made it very hard for her, and me, to open. However, I was grateful that instructions were included in making sure it was securely closed as well as showing what all the activities the little animals could do inside. My only drawback would be that there was only 1 little animal inside. However, I could see from a marketing perspective that a parent/child could purchase additional friends to accompany them. It's been just a few days since Easter and I've seen my daughter play with this once. Not sure it'll keep her interest long.

Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our very first Hatchimals CollEGGtibles play set and let me just say right away both me and my daughter are thrilled with the set. We only have a one of the Hatchimals from the blind bags and now this adorable play set gives them a place to play. The playset is so stinkin cute too! My daughter was swinging, going down slides, and just pretend playing like kids her age should be doing. Right away she commented on how pretty the egg was and of course viewed in the secret scene, which she thought was neat. She was happy with her little pink Hatchimal character and she commented how cute it was. (I was honestly hoping for that one lol). She did have a hard time closing the play set the first time and got very frustrated, but we worked through it and I think she was confused because it was a little different than opening. No problem now that she knows how to do it. I like opening the playset because it kind of automatically opens like a grand entrance to inside the egg. Although even with all these exciting things going on she did get bored with the set a little fast. I was able to suggest some ideas to her and that extended her play time with the set that incorporated other toys she had. Now, we did end up picking up some extra Hatchimals the next time we went to the store so she could play longer with the Hatchimals and that seems to have been the trick. I would suggest this product would have been better if it came with Two because it only comes with one and this set is most functional with at least a two to three little adorable hatchimals. Saying that, I think I would give the CollEGGtibles Secret Scene Playset a Five Star if it came with Two Hatchimals, so it will only get Four since I had to purchase additional ones. I want to point out that as a parent, I do like the size of the set and think its perfect for little hands, and for travel. My daughter is able to carry the set her self and store her Hatchimals inside while we do errands or take short trips and she just loves having a actual play set with her. I love that she can just put them right back in the egg and close up. I recommend for anyone who has little ones that love Hatchimals, I think you will be very happy with the product and its quality.

Makes a boring toy less boring!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though not the most fun or clever way to store and play with a small toy like collEGGtibles, this toy it definitely makes what is otherwise a pretty useless toy more fun. CollEGGtibles, for the uninitiated, are a less interesting version of Shopkins, except they come in a plastic egg that hatches when you hold it in your warm hands. It's really the hatching process that is fun and innovative, the toy inside is pretty "meh". But now the toys are less "meh" thanks to this new way to play with and store them, with a secret viewable scene and various activities. My 9 year old daughter was super excited. I can't see her playing with it much but it was definitely fun for a day when we gave it to her and I'm sure she'll pull it out to play with from time to time. I just wish the collEGGtibles themselves weren't so darn expensive!

Interesting and Interactive Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Secret Scene Playset is a fun toy for Hatchimal fans! My 6 year old daughter loved the mystery of looking through the secret peep hole. She liked to figure out how to open it, which is very unique. The toy itself is constructed well and very colorful. My child had a nice time exploring with the toy and has incorporated it into her other Hatchimals collection. Which Hatchimal will your child get? That's one of the thrills!

She's played with it almost everyday since I received it. She was able to put a bunch of all her little hatchimals inside and have some creative play time.

Eggcellent present for Hatchimal lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How fun to have my 7 year old be able to a review a product especially when it came to the Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Secret Scene Playset! She has several small Hatchimals and was excited to have a playset for them. Her favorite part of this toy is peeking through the top. It’s like a kaleidoscope and there is a secret scene. The whole egg is very colorful and decorated beautifully. She enjoyed letting the Hatchimal play on the swing, slide on the slide, ride the merry-go-round and simply hang out in the nests. The one issue she did have was actually opening the playset. It had a tendency to get stuck where she would have ask an adult for help! She would like to see the egg also made in a bigger size. Overall she really enjoys playing with the toy and was happy to show the neighborhood kids. I really like that it can close back up when not in use and some Hatchimals can go inside. Great toy to take on the go!

Fun for a little while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute product geared towards young girls who love hatch animals. It's very girlie and had a beautiful design. My daughter initially loved playing with it but got bored quickly. Its fairly small in size. She liked the kaleidoscope but didn't play with it after a few days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
