[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge makes several different noises for defrost stage and not sure what else that I don’t understand why at this stage of technology. Very noisy. I don’t remember my 20 plus year old fridge making any noise besides ice dumping and water filling the ice try. This is nice looking and so far keeping food cold.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall pleased however the second drawer which you put veggies in keeps getting stuck when you open it😢
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the refrigerator that came with the new house I bought and I am replacing it. While it looks good, I find the side-by-side is challenging in terms of practicality. It's not that easy to find and access items inside. The water dispenser is a fairly narrow band and glasses tend to slip off it. Ice gets stuck in the chute which stays open as it melts. It's not unusual to hear a cube drop sometime later after it has melted to a smaller size. This refrigerator is going into my garage where it will serve as a backup and the dispenser won't be used.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this refrigerator for a mont now and am not happy with the water and ice dispenser. First the ice dispenser is too for in and not near enough room to get a cup in, water is outside edge and dribbles water down front and ice maker doesn’t fill bucket.
Our fridge broke after 10 months - just stopped cooling and started making a popping noise. Whirlpool put us in touch with the only repair shop in town (we live in the Raleigh, NC area - not a small town!) and we waited for a week and a half for a repair man to come out. The compressor was dead and he said it might take weeks to order a compressor and come back out to replace it, but who can live without a fridge in the house for weeks? We have medication that must stay cool and we were tired of buying ice from the store every day. We ended up buying another fridge. We emailed Whirlpool to see if they can make good on this and were told we need to go through the steps suggested by the repair shop. Maybe one can live without a washer, dryer, microwave for weeks but a fridge should have a different priority. More than half of our food spoiled. We put all the freezer food in a friend’s freezer - another inconvenience. We will never buy another Whirlpool fridge nor ever pay for an extended warranty for fridge again. This was the manufacturer’s warranty but since the warranty does not guarantee speed of service, it’s just not worth it. Not for a fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator works well and keeps food well frozen. Makes lots of ice quickly. The cooling side also works well but the bins don't slide easily.
My apartment complex supplied us with these. It’s the loudest refrigerator I’ve ever had. I’ve never paid attention to refrigerator noise until this one. The evaporator fan is so loud and seems to rubs constantly. I can hear it all over my place. Please stay away!
