Brand New Refrigerator Worked for a few weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and after only owning it for weeks, it died. I called a service technician (done under warranty) and he said that these refrigerators are now filled with propane as the cooling gas and that it leaked out. He is coming back to fix it, but this leaves me without our only refrigerator for quite awhile. All my food was spoiled and I am not sure I can get compensated since I didn't take a picture of the spoiled food. Still checking on this.

Nice but loud ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great and very roomy fridge. I love that the shelves are completely flat with just a tiny lip which increases the storage per shelf.
I dislike how loud the ice maker is - you can hear it humming constantly and I haven’t been able to find the off switch

Good storage nice features

Ice/water dispenser makes a mess

It does its job - it keeps stuff cold.
There are 3 significant shortcomings, in my opinion:

There are 3 significant shortcomings, in my opinion:
1 - the design of the in-door water dispenser makes it almost impossible to get water without making a mess. The water comes out for an extra instant after you remove pressure from the button. As an adult who is conscious of this, I can be very careful and make it work. But my kids don't take the extra measure and there is almost always water in the tray and/or running down the door and/or on the floor.
2 - the ice dispenser often makes a mess. What happens is that ice gets released from the main compartment (in the freezer) but doesn't make it all the way into the cup. It gets caught just above the flap that releases into the cup. So if you aren't aware of this and don't basically "work" for that last bit of ice, one or two or three pieces will sit there and slowly melt. Again - leaving water in the tray and/or running down the door and/or on the floor.
3 - it's loud sometimes. There are intermittent processes - I assumed related to making ice - that are sometimes loud and annoying. This last issue is far less frustrating than the first two, though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
