I had this refrigerator for 3 years. The compressor was replaced once, Freon was added twice then once the extended warranty was expired the coils inside leaked! The refrigerator is now in the trash!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge almost six years ago and have been extremely happy with it for many reasons, BUT it recently required the compressor to be replaced, which was covered by the 10 year warranty on the part. We used the LG repair technician, which we would recommend rather than a local appliance repair.

This refrigerator is the best, most well thought out, beautiful, incredible refrigerator anyone can own. It's 30 cubic feet, the black SS finish doesn't leave prints, French doors on the top and 2 freezer compartments with 3 pull out drawers in each, not to mention additional space on the doors. The ice maker is located in the left door of the refrigerator saving valuable freezer space. The door-in-door allows easy access to frequently used items like milk, juice, condiments. The Easy Reach compartments in front of the two large storage drawers are great for cheese and lunch meats. The variable shelving features will accommodate just about anything you want to put in a refrigerator. If you have the space, it's the only refrigerator to own. The only negative is the linear compressor went out and had to be replaced. However, it was under warranty and was replaced at no cost.

Bought this.... Ice Make never worked properly, fridge worked inconsistently. Leaked water which damaged my cabinets and stained my floors. Horrible.

Never one issue in 6 years until the compressor went out just recently. Luckily it has a 10 warranty.
