Great family fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy we purchased this product. It was far more spacious than it looks! The only downside is the two little drawers that are in the bottom of the frig. They can really hold that much, but they are perfect for a small amount of deli meet or kid snacks!

Unit only lasted 16 months before it died. I have had it serviced 4 times and still not working

Junk, absolute junk

Just retired mine as this piece of junk broke down for the 4th time in 5 years. Bad compressors, bad ice maker, bad fans, bad boards, no parts available....... Never again will I purchase any LG product. Check online as there was a class action lawsuit against this company for this garbage. Probably lost 1000 in groceries from these failures. You have been warned.

I had added 10 year warranty to my fridge at the time of purchase.
I was accepting to make 1 phone to get the repair done, it turned out be 20 phone calls and hours spent on the phone back and fourth.

Finally got the repair done and the fridge is working okay, however I have to max the frozen stetting to -04 setting to get the freezer to maintain 32 temp.
I don't think the freezer is same as before.

REFRIGERATOR - It does take some getting used to which side to open, so you have to arrange your foods accordingly so you don't always have to open both sides. For example, all my lunch items are on one side. The shelves on the flip-out door aren't all accessible when you open the full door. So I often open the full door and realize I have to close it to get something. The refrigerator is very deep so if you are height challenged it's tough getting to the back of it. But that does provide lots of room. The left side of the refrigerator door does have small compartments because of the ice maker. But I couldn't live without one. The freezer has plenty of space. But keep in mind a large frozen pizza won't fit because it's two separate doors. Runs very quietly and hardly notice even the ice maker.
