Paint flakes off inside.

I’ve had this grill for two seasons. At the end of the first season most of the interior paint started to peel away from the sides and cover. Pretty worried that it is getting in our food. The burners are also not functioning well after the first season and not maintaining uniform heating or reaching the temperature it reached last year. For the cost of this grill I expected it to last a lot longer
As there are no other reviews posted yet I am doubtful we will ever see this review posted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're very sorry to hear this. We value you as a Char-Broil customer and want you to enjoy using your grill. The inside of our grills are not painted. It sounds like this is carbon flaking off of the inside of the lid. This can be removed with warm soapy water and a cloth. If you are experiencing a low flow the regulator may need to be reset or the propane tank checked. Please follow this link (ow.ly/SktNu) or give us a call at 1-866-239-6777 and we'll be able to further investigate and help.

Bought another Hybrid grill due old one rusting. . Very happy with my new pne!

Owned this grill for a couple years now and love it. I cook burgers, chicken and steaks over the gas burners when I need to get done quick. I cook over charcoal for that extra flavor and I use it as a smoker to slow cook pork butts, brisket, chicken etc. I use the side burner to steam bratwurst in beer and onions. They are a family favorite. I also love the sturdy construction of this grill. It is a quality built cooker that is very versatile and allows me to cook anything I want on a grill. The attached photo shows how I cook pork buts with charcoal and wood.
Great product, great brand. Only negative was that it was damaged in several places and dented in shipping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this grill about one year ago so I can no longer return it or I would. I would definitely not purchase again. I mostly use the gas function but have used the charcoal function two times. We have only used it 6-8 times total and I feel as if I can't leave the grill because it lights on fire every time. I have tried cleaning it, etc. We have not used it enough times for this to happen. The flames get so high I have to turn off all but one burner and cook everything on one side. The grill to me is useless and dangerous. I wish I could get my money back.

All BBQ's shed carbon after a bit, and it is sad to have your Gas2Coal Grill Recieve a negative rating for this naturally but unavoidable occurring phenomenon. Again, sorry guys!
