Over all a great addition

I used to have a forerunner 210 and loved it. Switched to a TOM TOM Multisport and had nothing but problems out of it. Thought about getting the Fenix 5... but this had more features that i wanted. The music storage is what sold me. So far works really well. I use Bose Sound Sport wireless earphones and if i wear the 645 on my left wrist the music will blip out with the back swing of my arm... so i just wear it on my right wrist (but i REALLY prefer it on my left). If you are looking for a multy function watch that tracks alot of activities, still notifies you of stuff from your phone, and plays music... this one works great.

This watch is amazing! I love that it can connect to Bluetooth headphones to listen to music...it tells me everything I need to know during and after the run. The battery life is great, I have to plug it up to charge at night once a week. I love this watch!

Awesome Watch!!

The best watch ever!! I never run with my phone and have only run with the nano ipod. Now that they are no longer making them I was looking for a way to get my music. I saw the ad online featuring the Music 645 and was so excited!! I replaced my Garmin Forerunner 235 with the 645 and have been extremely pleased with all the functions, screens, ease of using the watch and getting the music I want to listen to on my runs.

In love with the various features

The heart rating monitor is great. I can track how my heart rate throughout the day in any interval I want. Sleep and stress monitoring, it's great so I can track everything in regards to my recovery. Workout sessions are phenomenal, I can pick and choose what ever workout it is to monitor with the various apps. Also, after periods of time I can track my vo2 Max and lactate threshold. The watch syncs activities to my fitness app that tracks my intake of calories consumed and burned.
The only reason I rated the 645 music 4/5 is because of the inconvenience of the music application. It is easy for iheart radio, however; Spotify doesn't work at all. I had to cancel my Spotify account and start up an iheart radio account. Super inconvenient, lost my music with Spotify and now have to start from scratch.

Forerunner 645

I have had the watch 2 months and everything seems to work well. I do have some trouble customizing the watch for my runs and the specifics of what I need. Also the music option sounded great but unless I can download all my music on to a computer I cannot get it on my watch? That part seems really clunky and frankly I have not been able to use at all. If I could go back I would probably purchase a different version of garmin watch. I do live the garmin running watches but this has been a little difficult to get used to. I run on a competitive team in NYC and have been asked a lot about the watch. Most guys seem to prefer simple options with some functionality. I should say the heart rate is great and gps seems to be spot on.

Finally a way to run w/o carrying a bulky phone

Bought this the day the product was released to the public, love it. The charge time is excellent and the battery lasts several days. I can pop it on the charger on the way home from work a couple times a week and it runs for the week. Nice to have music on the go, as well as all of the smart watch features. Highly recommend.

So far so good. A few little things, band needed replaced out the door way to short. Be nice to have a hiking and kayaking app but things like that can change with software updates over time so it's tolerable. Battery life good, at about 3 -4 days of running , swimming, biking and walking. From 20% to 100% takes about 45-60 mins. My plantronics back beat syncs perfectly. But when I running it cuts out on occasion. Not sure what that all about.. Overall it's very light and comfortable with the upgraded band. I'd give 5 stars and be impressed completely if the music didn't skip and the band was longer .
