Great watch

Great size on my wrist, great features for many different activities beyond running. Tons of data re: running. Sometimes the music feature is buggy (I assume this will improve with time), and sometimes I have trouble getting it to be recognized by the desktop Garmin app. Otherwise, my favorite Garmin watch.

Great Watch

I love this watch. I tracks everything perfectly. Used the music function for a 10K and sound was great and it never unpaired. My only complaint is that it does not pair with one of my Bluetooth headsets. Since I have two set, I can use it with one of them, but I only use this headset when I run. I was hoping to use the watch with music in the gym so I don't have to bring my phone on the gym floor. It won't work with the plantronics headset I own.

Not ready for prime time

have had this for 60 days and greatly disappointed, but not surprised. Watch is very difficult to use for activities. the biggest issue is the extremely poor interface for music download and playback. near impossible to get it to sync to iHeart, and when it does, never loads the amount of music on watch that is in the playlist. and what music it does load takes FOREVER. I moved to this watch from AWS 3 edition only because i had all of my activity stats on Garmin connect already and wanted compatibility. What a mistake. 645 is very unpolished for a user group that expects to have expensive wearable work flawlessly. Oh, and dont get me started on the Bluetooth issue with connecting to head phones. What a joke. Have to wear the watch on my right wrist so music doesn't drop out constantly with my Bose Free Sport buds. Seriously? Pay this much for a running watch and you cant even get the Bluetooth to work correctly?

When downloading music through the iHeartRadio app, it is recommended that you connect your watch to the charging cable in a location where the Wifi signal is the strongest. This will ensure that you will have the most stable Wifi connection for downloading playlists. Great positives, with a couple of negatives

First, I’d like to say that it’s a great running watch. Garmin has done a great job of putting all the great features from the other watches in its forerunner line into this watch. I’m also very happy with the speed of syncing via Mobile Garmin Connect. The ability to load music, books on tape (great for long runs), and podcasts makes this the watch I had been looking for.
Now the negatives: as noted by garmin, connectivity with certain Bluetooth headphones is a little sketchy, but for the most part useable...AirPods were almost unuseable though. The main flaw that I’ve seen has to be a software issue. If I decide to randomize a playlist while doing a created workout (transfered from Garmin Connect to the watch), then the watch will tend to crash and restart halfway through the workout (if it’s 60min long and with multiple reps or sets). Again, not a huge issue, because the data still saves and the workout is able to pickup where it left off (I learned this after several times of this happening), but there must be bug somewhere in the coding that is causing a conflict between audio player and the workout data.
Again, great watch, I’d just like to see the audio bug fixed.

Garmin - Forerunner 645

I have had my watch for about 3 weeks. I have always had a Garmin watch and was thinking about switching to an Apple watch, so I bought both. I tested them both, ran and rode my bike with both. I ended up keeping the Garmin and I am so happy I did. I have a lot to learn about the new watch, but so far everything is great. I would highly recommend this was to anyone.

Its ok

Having issues with receiving texts and notifications. Won’t connect to WiFi. Disconnects from Bluetooth all the time. Listening to music will really drain the battery!! Should of kept my Apple Watch!

Great watch with great flaws

I enjoy the watch and the features , but do wish they all would work. Have had nothing but problems with the music portion of the watch and issue is still unresolved .
