Its a gas cooktop

cooktop, with one less star

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the cooktop, except for one flaw: when the front two burners are turned to their lowest settings, the flame is still too high and keeps the food bubbling and boiling, i.e., the lowest setting should be a simmer and just keep the food warm. I have to move the pot to the back right burner and turn it on to low so the food won't boil over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Work great! Stainless steel burners tarnishing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved in in March, we have use the cooktop a few times. Works great but within the first week or so of use, the stainless steal ring/edge on the burners started to tarnish. Brown spots in the steel that are not appealing.
Makes the brand new cooktop look dirty. These pics are of the 3 burners that we use. I haven’t used the other two burner much so they are fine.

Poor Quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop was installed in our our newly built home. I’ve begun using it two weeks ago. I didn’t imagine it was less performant than my old ceramic cooktop. Just boiling water takes a long time in comparaison. I used several pots, all the handles become too hot to hold.
Cleaning is also a problem, lifting the heavy grids, the steel plates were already scratched before any use. The steel plates are very poor quality. I regret my ceramic stove!
