Functions are dismal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely TERRIBLE installation instructions, especially converting to propane as there is NON E!!! They give you a card with color coded orifices and just by luck you see matching colors hidden in the cooktop burners. They also do not send a tool to adjust flame as they all were set to maximum with no simmer setting. Simmer is still too high even after adjustment and will scorch all pans. Only great feature is unit looks good and hinging grates are a big plus.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well but cosmetic complaints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooktop cooks just fine but it’s very hard to keep it clean the burner caps get black and it is impossible to scrub it off. The knobs are made out of plastic coated in some kind of silver something that are very cheap. One area has already kind of bubbled up in the few month I have had the cooktop. I wish I could buy different knobs.

It is not heating up evenly and the spatula and spoons get unbearably hot even if u leave it in the pot for few minutes while oooking. Never faced this is any other brand cooktops. Hearing this is a common complaint

Good solid basic range top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was already installed in the home I purchased. I really prefer cooking with natural gas. I do wish the burners had a little more control, especially on the low end of the heat setting. The only one that goes low enough for sautéing is the smallest burner.
