Nice to look at but not useable as a stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item several months ago, had it installed. I was very nervous as this model was replacing a JennAire that I had purchased some ten years ago. I am now regretting that decision to do so. The stove is nice to look at, is easy to clean, has solved the issue of fluids and dirt buildup around the burner bases by making them sealed. In many ways, this should be a great product to use. However, that in and of itself is the issue with the stove: it cannot be used as it was designed to do. The burners do not provide variable flame or heat. The high setting produces a flame that is the same as a mid or low setting on the range. There are adjustment holes in the knob shafts that are supposed to be able to be used to adjust the flame. However, the 3/32” size access point makes it near impossible to fit a screwdriver into the hole. Additionally, a screwdriver that is 3/32” in diameter and at least 2” in length is required to make this adjustment. I have been unable to source a screwdriver with these dimensions so am stick with the burner on high at all times. Very disappointing product and makes me wish I had given additional research before buying. The brand name indicated to me that the product would be great. Caveat emptor!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooktop in general functions great. The stainless steel parts tend to scratch even with gentle use when the hinged cast iron grates are put back for cleaning!! even gently so!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased Model# WCG55US6HS new stove top to replace our 23yr old stovetop that needed replacement/repair. The new
stovetop works well, looks nice except for knobs, which are cheap fake/silver looking. Biggest issue for us is it does not go as low for simmer as old stovetop, even the "simmer" burner is still rather high/hot at its lowest point. I do find the hinged grates are a nice feature for ease of cleaning.
