I Love My Gas Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had electric cooktops most of my life. I have hated each and every one of them. Having this gas cooktop makes me want to cook. It is easy to use, it has plenty of space to cook multiple dishes or dish components and it is incredibly easy to clean. I do have one complaint. I am having trouble finding a large drop-in griddle for it. I have seen a griddle that is designed for this specific unit, but it does not cover the full area that the grate uncovers when you remove it and the griddle is aluminum. I don't want an aluminum griddle. I don't like aluminum. Whirlpool or Lodge needs to make a drop-in griddle for this unit. If they made one for each grate, I would buy all three. I love cooking breakfast on a griddle.

Love having 5 burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time having a gas cooktop and I love having a 5 burner cooktop. The only complaint I have is when placing small pots on it, you have to be careful where you place them as they will tilt some where the grates are open. Other than that, I have enjoyed cooking with a gas cooktop.

Gas cook top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was in a new home we purchased. Unit is nice, easy to use but difficult to clean as the installer did not allow enough vertical space to use the EZ-2-Lift™ Hinged Cast-Iron Grates, so you have to lift them off to clean and then reassemble.

New house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came in the new house that I purchased in Sept. It is nice and easy to clean. I was a little disappointed that it was not a gourmet style stove like my previous stove in the new home that I bought in 2003. That stove was by Whirlpool and it grilled over an open flame and it had a optional grill cover for pancakes. This one does not even though this house was several thousand more in price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Counter Top Stove

This range or stove came with our home purchase. I am very happy with the product overall. It operates and functions just as expected. The finish and color of the product is very nice. Few improvements I would really suggest is that the height between the grill and burner caps could be reduced to increase efficiency of the cooking process. The burner sizes are perfect. The spacing between each burner is sufficient to fit in large pots and pans. Also, for me it is sometimes hard to figure out if my pot is centered over the flame, so some sort of centering feature on the top grill would also be much more helpful to ensure even cooking all around the pots. The knobs are working fine. The flat design of the cook top makes it every easy to clean. Overall a good product. I would rate 5 starts if they had above mentioned enhancements to the product.

Great features and easy to clean
