[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was apprehensive to purchase this washer/dryer combo because I have never owned a whirlpool appliance. Boy, was I wrong for not owning one sooner! The unit is quiet. The controls are in a great location with being above the dryer. My last unit, the controls were in the middle of the unit & would change the knobs when putting clothes in the dryer. The washer works very well! I feel my clothes come out cleaner than my other unit. I feel the wash cycle doesn't take forever- maybe an hour. I love that the washer has a liquid bleach dispenser & agitator with a fabric softner dispenser. There are several different wash cycles you can use. The dryer is quiet & dries the clothes quickly - very impressed! There are different dry cycles & temperature settings.I was amazed with how much lint came off the screen so make sure you clean the lint trap after each dry cycle. The depth on this unit was about 4 inches deeper than my old unit which was not a problem for me because I had the room where the unit was installed. All in all very satisfied with my purchase & the washer/dryer combo!

Nice Little Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this unit for 5 weeks. It’s just my husband and I now so I didn’t need one of the large sets and decided to go with this unit, so far-so good. I love the stack feature as it frees up so much floor space (my laundry room is small), and I can store the clothes basket on top! It does a great job of cleaning clothes. I love the “Done” light on the washer, no more guessing if the cycle is complete! If I had to mention any negatives I would say I wish the dryer had the buzzer when the load is done drying. But that is not a deal breaker. All-in-all, I’m happy with this unit.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am disappointed that I didn't check up the settings in person before I bought. It has a sensor that regulates the water. It is confusing and more complicated than it needs to be. One more thing to go wrong and make it disposable instead of a quality product that whirlpool is known for. I want to be able to set the load size without computerized components. It's my own fault but wouldn't purchase again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Need More Experience to Judge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this unit once. Then I sprained my back and have been unable to do anything much.
I did do one load and was somewhat disappointed that the load did not spin as dry as I hoped it would.
The directions said try using the drain and spin setting, so next time I will see if that helps.
