WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE

0 stars. It did not work out of the from first load. I was told I needed to have repair done as it was under warranty and Whirlpool does not offer any returns. I have to schedule repairs. UNEXCEPTABLE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 70 and always had Whirlpool appliances and have nothing but good things to say about them. Well 4 years ago I bought a property with my son and his wife with a house and cottage for myself. I made the mistake of letting them pick the appliances as my health wasn't good. They bought a LG all in one W/D combo and I hated it through 2 repair bills in 4 years and never liked how it took all day to wash and dry a load and noisy too! So I finally bought replaced it with this Whirlpool stacked unit at half the price of what the LG cost! It's quiet and efficient like I always came to expect from Whirlpool. Thank you Whirlpool. Next is the refrigerator.

I just received my new washer and dryer. Decided to put in a load.The washer was unbalanced as I was making a banging noise.Tried to adjust the clothing. When it came time for the dryer.The dryer was not hot and when I opened the door to the dryer it kept spinning and the clothes were flying out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It runs very quietly and is a full size unit that fits in a closet which allows me to do laundry on the main floor of our house. The one issue I have is the dryer door is a little hard to open and close. I am hoping this improves with use.
