Locking lid feature

I like to dilute the liquid fabric softener when added to a load of laundry - to do so, I must get water from a different source because the lid locks. Is there any way of using the water as it fills the machine? Also, drum is too deep for short people.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi, short pat. We're sorry to hear that you're having difficulty diluting fabric softener when you would like. We recommend adding the softener to the fabric softener dispenser after loading in your laundry (and any liquid chlorine bleach, if applicable). Since the lid lock safety feature activates when the machine is in a cycle, you will need to add water to the dispenser prior to when the water begins filling. So far so good

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought 2 weeks ago; used twice. So far so good. The design could be improved though. The controls are too high for a short woman. (5'1") so I have to stand on a foot stool to operate. Probably designed by a tall man.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great features and easy to use

we bought this machine in January 2018. we moves our laundry upstairs from the basement. Yes the drier door does open a little hard but what new door does not open hard for a while, love the machine.
