Don't bother

I cannot fathom why Bosch would send out a frig with a horrendous ice dispenser. Why bother outfitting it with a dispenser at all. No matter how wide or deep a container is ice shoots all over the floor!!!! The drawers are cheap and don't pull out far enough to get items out unless you remove the drawer.

I Love Bosch appliances but not this fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After few months the water kept leaking from the water dispenser. It took couple months to get a new fridge after the technician determinated that it was not fixable. Once we got the replacement fridge, the control unit stopped working which it did not allow us to switch to get ice. Now the fridge is leaking water from the water dispensor again. The fridge looks nice but quality is not good. I wish I had bought a fridge without water and ice despensers. I'm being genrous for giving it 3 stars

The water/ice dispenser is a disaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought many Bosch products before and was happy with them and they last for years that is why we chose this frige. however this one was a disappointment. Ice/water dispenser is a distater( we live in the south and use it continuously), it has only one lever for water and ice where as other brands have two separate levers. The function is switchable from dispaly/control panel above. You need to depress corresponding button. While indicators are lit the buttons are not lit and at night you have to guess. If ice maker is set to water and you need crushed ice you have to push "crushed ice" button 3!( three times) - first time to wake up control panel, when you depress "crushed ice" second time it switches to "cubed ice" and only third attempt gets you crushed ice. So you really have to be on alert about what you going to get before pushing the lever and it is is not one hand operation either. Ice maker is awafully noisy making that piggysh /pitching noises at night. Water pump is also too noisy and provides too much pressure. If you have ice in the glass then water will splash all over the floor and there is no water catch basin either. There is something wrong with position of the nozzle - if cup is not aligned perfectly and all the way up then ice/water will fly all over. With our tiled floor it becomes slippery and dangerous. Instructions for disabling ice maker are not clear. It says that before turning it off water have to be shut about an hour before. Fine, but what if I still need the water after ice amker is disabled. Can I turn it water back on? It does not say. In any case it apears user need to perform frige back and forth moving exercises because water supply is always located behind the frige. This exercise is not for everyone.
As for the frige I could not switch display from farenheiht to celcius even though user's manual says it can be done.
Other than that it is a regular frige, hopefully it will last.

Extremely weak shelf

Went to a newly-furnished air-bnb with one of these, put seven pop cans on the short door shelf, and it cracked. Thanks for the embarrassment we get to work out with the owner now, Bosch. And we don't dare put anything else now in the fridge, all the shelves are fragile cheap plastic with no structural support.

Ice maker failing 1 week from installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator was installed 1 week ago. Since day 2 every time I remove the full ice container, immediately an entire batch of new ice cubes is discharged in the freezer interior smashing ontop of the shelf under the removed container.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
