Modern, Simple and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to replace our previous Bosch refrigerator/freezer, there was no question that we simply wanted the current version of the same design from Bosch as it has a clean/modern design, the functions are straightforward and easy to use, and it was always very reliable. This new version is no different as it is spacious, easy to organize and keep clean, and just works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT BRAND OF PRODUCTS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a Bosch dishwasher in 2009 and have not had any issues with this brand. We recently decided to replace our dysfunctional refrigerator with a Bosch. We chose this Bosch refrigerator after reading very positive reviews of this model. Overall we are very happy with our decision. The refrigerator meets cabinet depth and height. It provides plenty of space for storage given the size of the refrigerator. When shopping for a refrigerator, we wanted an ice maker inside the freezer with access to water and ice on the outside door. We like the small cube size of the ice the refrigerator produces. The ice maker does make loud noises after each use of getting ice and when producing ice but given time you get accustomed to hearing this sound. Any appliances that need to be replaced in the future will be a Bosch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks great, counter depth is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator looks great and is performing well to date (about 6 weeks in). There is lack of a deli tray, I opted to buy third party containers to help aid organization of the unit. We're still getting used to it as we moved from a refrigerator over freezer unit that was much larger. Some complain about ice dispencer, as long as you don't allow the ice to drop too far it isn't an issue.

Disappointing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water/ice dispenser is defective. No matter what I do there is always ice being spit out onto the floor. In addition, pieces of ice melt and drip down the front of the refrigerator because there is no tray below to catch dripping water and melting ice. It is also rather noisy when refilling.
There are insufficient shelves and bins in the refrigerator. There is no option to add additional shelves to the inside door because there are no brackets to attach another shelf.

Terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a poorly designed refrigerator across the board. The ice maker is incredibly loud, slow, and takes up far too much space in the freezer. Mine is about 5 months old and the ice maker has now stopped working entirely.
My old, much smaller refrigerator, had more interior freezer space. The ice dispenser gets ice absolutely everywhere (as noted in many other reviews). The water filter housing takes up twice as much space as needed, reducing interior space even further. It's as if the designers of this box had never once used a refrigerator; the design choices are infuriating.

New fridge

We did not see an example of this model but ordered based onthe others onthe showroom floor. After installation found the following disappointments: loudest ice maker we have ever heard; no shelf position adjustments; doors interfere with each other if both opened at the same time; light for ice/water alcove too dim. Otherwise works as we expected.

Good product -- save for two problems

The freezer and fridge work well and I don't find it to be all that loud - I measured it at around 47-48 decibels if you are standing right next to it. For the most part is a good machine however there are two very agitating things:
1) As others have noted, the ice dispenser is poorly made and I'm suprised it made it past QA. The ice ends up on the floor -- everytime. The hole was simply made so large so the ice comes flying out in every possible angle and it seems impossible to stop. Bosch should really make something to help guide the ice down better. I've thought about doing it myself.
2) Impossible to find the model number for when I needed a replacement filter. I've looked everywhere and followed the guides on the website, I can't find a single sticker!

Noisy Poorly Designed Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker is incredibly noisy, it sounds like a drone. It is so loud it can be heard from the bedroom on the other side of the house. The ice dispenser is poorly designed. It is impossible to get a cup directly below the dispenser due to the design, so ice chips fall to the side and onto the floor. Extremely dissatisfied with this product.
