Nice Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of replacing expensive refrigerators that just did not last, we bought a Bosch. We replaced two dishwashers with a Bosch, and plan to replace our range with a Bosch. We feel we are getting exactly what we expect out of their appliances. We are very happy with our fridge, works beautifully.

Ice maker takes up too much of the freezer space. Design is very bulkey. Slow in making ice. Noisey icemaker motor. Beeps at every interaction. Not necessary for normal use. Bosch in a quality product, but this, in my wstimate, is not up to their normal engineering like the microwave oven and dishwasher.
It is asy to keep clean and runs quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a purchase of need not want. I did want a Bosch appliance, as I have a dishwasher and am very happy with it. This fridge has not dissapppinted! It has good space and layout, the door seal is fantastic. It works as expected. I guess time will tell on longevity or repairs needed. I am happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Bosch refrigerator is almost perfect. It performs all functions well and looks great. My only suggestion would be to include an additional bin/tray for cold meats, bacon etc.

Somewhat surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator and freezer function fine. I had read reviews that the ice maker is noisy. Well, they all are, aren't they? I was surprised to hear just how noisy (i.e. long moaning sounds) this one is. Today Bosch switched out the ice maker unit but it has made no difference.
In the refrigerator, it would be nice if there could be options to add a shelf. Also of note, the vegetable and fruit bins are smaller than those of other refrigerators I have had (with the same footprint).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a reliable refrigerator that should't be very fance and hence very expensive. This one seems to fit this goal. The only glitch is that when I changed the water filter it suddenly stopped dispensing water. I was about to call support since I am still in warranty, but this was on Saturday. I had to wait till Monday to call. Somehow after 10 or 15 min it started working. Still don't know what was the cause. That is the reason I am giving 4 stars.

Excellent Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new refrigerator. The controls are simple and easy to understand. The shelves and other components are easy to install and to adjust.
Having never had a refrigerator with an ice maker before, we were surprised by the amount of noise generated and ice scattered on the floor. Maybe the Bosch design is better than all others, but I have no information.
The ice maker makes enough noise to stand out in a quiet house. It also tends to spray chips of ice to the floor in front of the refrigerator and the water dispenser tends to drip after being used.. If you don't draw ice on a regular basis, then it tends to jam, so you should probably just turn off the water.
