Refridgerator icemaker noise

Great fridge, awful ice maker

Beautifully designed refrigerator with the loudest, most obnoxious ice maker ever.

Good size

Beautiful refrigerator but problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator/freezer are very nice but we had a problem with the ice maker dispenser freezing up at the bottom then leaking. Service tech determined the flap at the bottom of the shute where the ice cubes are dispensed is missing and warm air is getting into that area. He has ordered a flap and will return to install it. Also the dimensions on the Bosch site were inaccurate. The height given was to the top of the front of the appliance but didn't allow for a raised up part at the back of the top. We had to remove a cabinet to be able to use it. We havent had to change the filter yet but it appears inconvenient as the manual says the power and water supply must be turned off. We have never had to do this to change a filter before.

Love everything but the wild ice dispenser

I lovethe design and we purchased the refrigerator because of the excellent experience and quietness of our Bosch dishwasher. The only complaint we have with the new appliance is that when we try to get crushed or cubed ice it spews out all over hitting the floor and tray.

overall we like the refrigerator, however the icemaker leaves a lot to be desired ... Noisy, crushed ice is messy and cubed ice isn't much better . If you improve this feature please let us know when you can put in a new ice maker....

Nice fridge with a few flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall design of this model and maximum utilziation of the fridge/freezer spaces is great. Temperature control and all of the main features work perfectly. The main flaws of this unit are the messy & loud water and ice dispenser/makers. It's tough to use these without making a mess in the kitchen, and it's dissapointing that the product design team didn't realize this and attempt to work out the kinks before finalizing the design.
I would recommend this to a friend!
