Would be 5* with a change to ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fridge - if any modifications could be made it would be all about the ice maker - 1) it is LOUD but I can live with that - 2) ice dispenser - when extracting ice into a glass it is very common for ice cubes or pieces to fly onto the floor. It's kind of annoying and seems that with a little re-engineering could be easily fixed by the manufacturer

ICE MAKER is loud, but love the rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker is definitely louder than we would have expected from Bosch. I say that as we had a Bosch fridge in our previous home and bought that one around 2007 and it was much quieter. But we are happy with the fridge as a whole.

Fridge Great - Ice Maker not so much

Best refrigerator I ever had

Ice Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this fridge is a good product but the ice machine... a lot of people complain about the noise which doesn't bother me, what bothers me is when I use the ice machine half of the ice doesn't make it into my cup and ends up on the ground. I've tried a lot of different techniques to to stop this from happening but I am constantly picking up ice off the ground. That is truly my only issue. Otherwise its a great fridge with lots of room for being a side to side fridge. I

Not what I would have expected from Bosch.

The ice maker is very loud and poorly designed as is the interior of the fridge. The bottom drawers don't open property and there are too few options to adjust shelf hight on both the doors and the main shelves.
If you really want bosch I would pass on the 100 series and look at the 300 or 700 series instead. This one isn't up to par.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our New Bosch Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been living with a GE refrigerator for about 8 years. Four major issues developed over time. First we had issue with water line leaking. We resorted to turning off the line whenever we left for an extended time. Second was difficulty in keeping the outside of the refrigerator clean. It seemed that the stainless steel exterior attracted fingerprints and smears that we had to clean on a regular basis. Third, because of design flaw, the water line to the exterior water dispenser on the door froze and would not dispense. This also affected the ice maker. We had to resort to buying packages of ice to replenish the ice dispenser. Lastly, shelves in freezer section were to small and I had to improvise shims to keep the shelves from falling and dumping frozen packages on the floor.
We purchased the new Bosch refrigerator as part of a package deal which included a new stove, Bosch dish washer, and the refrigerator. We especially enjoy not buying ice and having drinking water and ice at our finger tips. The control panel for this is simple and easy to use. A quick wipe cleans the surface on the occasions smears appear. My wife purchased a couple of plastic containers to organize our food items but we are very pleased with the storage capacity of our new Bosch refrigerator. And I greatly enjoyed not picking up dumped freezer items.
