As always LEGO did not disappoint! Very detailed model that was fun to build and great to display! Size and quality matched the price well.

Lots of fun

The only down side was having a few missing pieces. Thankfully I had some left over from other Lego kits.
Overall so much fun!!

Oh no! It’s very rare for a LEGO® set to be missing pieces. Usually you’ll find them stuck in the packaging, used in place of a similar piece, or hiding somewhere near your building area.

If you’ve checked all over and the parts haven't appeared, don’t worry! It’s super easy to request replacements. Just go to LEGO.com/Service and choose the “Bricks & Pieces” option to get started.

Need lights

Bought this and the Guggenheim at the same time and about 5h later both are done. Yes Im having a lot of fun but the sets are too quickly finished and I want another set to build... then what to do?
The Capital was fun and varied enough not to get tedious.
Looks good but need some lights, I might experiment with some LED but it would be great to have standardized LEDs built in by LEGO by default and up to the customer to just get a power source and hook one or many Architect sets to another if you put them all on a shelf.
Would look much better with lights.
I liked this semi large set more than I suspected, the sky line looks pretty but seems very easy to build (I say w/o trying one yet). Do more of these mini-sized buildings but I want them more or less in the similar scale when putting them side by side, no need for more depth though.

Great amount of detail

The final appearance is breath taking. The building can be viewed from three sides. The west side of the building is cut off, but there is a tiny cross section to make up for it. The challenging part of the build is it is repetitive because you're building from the ground up. There is a good portion of the building that uses the same three white pieces. I feel there was a missed opportunity to incorporate the history and timeline of the construction in the instructions of building the set.
The real excitement and fun came from the stairs, the three entrances on the east side, the roof, and of course the dome. The dome is simplified, but instantly recognizable. It looks great alone detached from the set.
It's my favourite out of the Lego Architecture sets I've purchased and I'm still impressed by the set months later after building it.

Great Set

Great Set goes well with the White House Architecture series. Would be nice to see other Washington DC buildings and monuments added to the series.

Wow. This is my first Lego Architect set, and it looks amazing in the front. The detail blows my mind, and it's hard to look away from. I enjoyed building this for more than one reason. The pieces went together perfectly, and it wasn't too hard to build. In fact, it was quit easy. The final product is also breath taking. I only have one complaint. The back is "unfinished". You can see into it from the behind. But, if you put it up against a wall, it's hidden and looks fantastic. 9.8/10. Amazing.

Fiddly, fun and fabulous

I received this set as a gift. It wasn’t one I’d considered getting, and was pleasantly surprised to discover just how detailed the lovely instruction manual is, and by the fact the bags aren’t numbered (There’s a certain pleasure from having to sort the bags before building, rather than not needing to think about where to begin.)!
It’s a fiddly build with all the one by ones, but the detail in this piece is so worth it. It’s a stunning display piece, and the tiny mini-minifig statues are a large lovely touch.
I’m not a particularly speedy builder but had finished it in under two and a half hours. I have to admit, I was surprised to see how much the set cost. Lovely as it is, had it not been bought for me I’m not sure I’d have spent quite so much to acquire it for myself when compared to other sets of equivalent price, particularly given how quickly the build experience was over!
Great set, all the same.

A fun yet slightly more challenging build! I'm a big fan of Lego Architecture, and the way this turned out exceeded my expectations.
