A very fun build, took very little time to build and is very fun to play with after homework. Details are great but the ball turrets have very restricted mobility and the "bubble on top should be a turret. Overall very fun and would recommend.

I just love the design of this set, well done Lego and the figures are perfect. I ended up buying 6 of these for the large resistance army build I am doing. One suggestion is I would like to to see less visible studs on this and other vehicle builds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This set is fantastic. Lots of play features. Sturdy enough to be used. Good minifigs. Goes well with other sets from the movie. It was fun to build and even more fun to play with. its also nice to look at.

Very Nice Model BUT

A warning - One of several Star Wars kits I have built (OK - more than several). And a MAJOR problem.
The manual included with the kit was HORRIBLY MISPRINTED. Pages 63-68 were DUPLICATED, Pages 47-62 were completely MISSING. Took me quite some time to figure out what was going on. Also, there are two (2) Number 1 bags which is not shown in the manual. And think the parts were mixed up as well.
Once I figured this out, do like the model. Does seem a bit unstable, but not too much. And really like dropping bombs!
Just make sure to check the manual.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set of the Year

This is a really awesome set. Of all the new Star Wars sets, this is definitely the best. The build quality is just fantastic. And the detailing is just right. Really, this set instantly became one of the favorites in my entire collection.
The set:
The set is very sturdy, doesn't feel like it will fall apart at all. And the detailing is great. For example, the engines on the outside look fantastic. The command center inside is also really neat, with a chair, desk and computer. The cockpit is great, with plenty of details to make it realistic. The outside turrets are cool too. And the bombing feature is awesome! It works flawlessly every time.
This is such a unique set, very unlike any that Lego has produced before.
Ultimately, this just feels like such a high quality set. Very well designed, excellent play features, top notch build quality.

The mini-figures are all really great too. The pilot and gunners have really detailed printing, and they all have unique and very cool helmets. Poe and Holdo are good figures too, and nice additions.
Lego has been making some top notch sets lately, and their effort shows. This has to be one of the best though. Do not miss out on this set!
