Hoped would Help More with Allergies

I got this because I have dust and pet allergies. I can tell it is doing something as the filter and pre-filter do get dirty. However my allergic reactions have not improved as I had hoped, so I may just return to the lower priced filter. I do wish the filters weren't so pricey. On the plus side the filters and pre-filters are very easy to change. The pre-filters become completely clean in the washer and are long lasting, so far I have not had one needing to be replaced because of wear and tear.

We try the regular filter and the more expensive Carbon fiber and there was no difference. We though it might help with after cocking food odor and help with dust .. but there was no different

Unfortunately now these filters come with an aweful toxic smell. It gave my wife a headache and was truly frustrating for me. If they could make again a filter that didn’t have a toxic smelling filter it would be a great product but at this point I am going to have to look into some alternatives for air filtration. I also would like it if the carbon portion of the filter was on the outside. This would decrease the potential of adding any elemental carbon into the air. This would make the filter similar to a carbon clean 16 filter for an Hvac which is a merv 16 filter.

I purchased my blueair 121 late December. Started using it in January and replaced the filter in May before the light indicator went on, to the upgraded version. It's been about one month with the new filter and the light indicator is yellow. How can that be? The filter is new and the light never came on before. Even having the original filter for 5 months.

I bought this filter because I was told if a yellow light was showing the filter needed to be replaced. So I bought the filter, replaced the old one with it and I still have a yellow light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there, to reset your filter timer light, please turn your unit on and hold the ON/OFF button for up to 30 seconds until the yellow or red light is cleared. This will complete your filter change.

It's a replacement filter. What can I say. It was easy to order and arrived promptly and intact. I installed it myself in less that a minute.It can be recycled which is good. It was expensive. With hazardous air quality from the wildfires in Northern California, it is much needed.
