Disappointment

Replacing the particle + carbon filter did not make the red warning lights go out. Now there is no one to ask whether there is a problem with the new filters or the machine itself.

Filters not changed before their time.

When the red light came on to change the filter I inspected the filter expecting it to still have some life to it. I discovered that it was really dirty. When I received the new filters I compared them and was amazed at just how dirty my old filters were. These Blue air filters work great and when the indicator turns red it's not kidding. Order a new filter. I have 2 of these machines and run them 24/7 right now being that it's winter time and windows and doors stay closed. The air in my house is noticeably cleaner and fresher and the machines are whisper quiet.

I hate how well the BlueAir Pure 411 works. I bought one since COVID started to clean my air. The air is dirty. The BlueAir has made my mild phobia of city air worse. The filter cleans the air well. I don't breathe as well when I go to other places. The BlueAir 411 purifier works so well I bought a 211 for my parents. The BlueAir 211 works so well I bought one for my spouse (we live in separate apartments because space makes a relationship healthy). My apartment has never smelled cleaner. Hayfever season went and gone, all right! I love it. You'll love yours. You will go somewhere else and dislike breathing. 5/5

We were introduced to BlueAir about 10 years ago with our friends, who has two kids with Asthma and they loved it. Since then we have gradually purchased 3 BlueAir purifiers for our need and told many other friends in the past years. We always get the filter w/ Carbon sheet because we believe that it could give us the best indoor air quality. Lately because of the terrible wildfire in CA, we really feel lucky to have BlueAir at home since we don't smell any smoke at home when our BlueAirs are on. We also found they are really reliable since we turn them on 24 hours a day and it works very well and quietly. Strongly recommend it!

I brought this air purifier out of desperation. I suffer with High Blood Pressure and sleep is an essential part of my treatment, so due to lack of sleep, horrible headaches and constant dry nostril. It was suggested that I try an air purifier so the hunt began and cost was my main attraction. I did my interest research and found a reasonable priced air purifier. I had no back ground knowledge of this product, but this device has won me over. I am so satisfied with my purchase that I will be gifting a friend with one as a Thank You gift. Not useful for removing fragrance odors

The filter is good for dust and pollen particles but I do NOT recommend for removing odors such as fragrances or other VOC’s. The odors stick (particularly the phthalates in fragrance) to the fabric shroud on the filter. This is problematic as the odors are released later. In my experience, I used the filter to reduce fragrance odor. A month later the filter, which was harboring the odor in the fabric shroud, released the same fragrance, filling the room. The thin carbon filter also exhausts quickly under these conditions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We understand that you might not be getting the VOC and odor absorption that you need with your Blue Pure 411, but we do have other models better intended for this purpose. The Blueair units with the highest removal of odors and VOC are the HealthProtect units (which feature a SmartFilter that has activated coconut carbon directly infused into the weaves), Classic 80i units (which come standard with DualProtection filters), Pro series (when upgraded with the Carbon + filter add-on or SmokeStop filters), and the Blue Pure 121 (when upgraded with the Extra Protection Particle + Carbon filter). New Filters Make Loud Noise at Level 3 Setting
