So simple! Part of the reason I got this purifier was because of the lower priced replacement filters and the quiet functions. Impressed with both! This was my first filter replacement and it was so simple. The dust in our bedroom has decreased drastically and we breath better so sleep better! Very impressed, and like that with the flexible subscriptions I don’t even need to remember when to order.

Absolutely get the replacement filter every 6 months. You'll see a huge difference between an old one vs. a fresh new one. White vs. black. Holy smokes!

Ordered this along with a replacement 211+ filter and while I am not happy with the 211+, this one seems to be working fine. Unlike the 211+ which had a very strong smell, this one had no smell and was almost as quiet as the original filter. I had to drop a star as my allergies and migraines have come back, but it is unclear whether it is due to the fact that this filter is trying to compensate for the new 211+ filter not working properly or if it, too, is defective and I just cannot tell.

The BlueAir 411 air filter works very well! We just changed the filter for the first time and couldn’t believe all the dust and ?? that was on the filter! The only “critique” I have is that the control button on the top of the unit could be a little easier to use, otherwise, it looks nice and unobtrusive and works!
