I've had this since 1-28-2021 and it's a huge improvement over the other type I was using (also Hepa). This unit is super quiet and I just plug it in and it automatically starts in the Auto mode. I can tell it's sensor is sensitive because it will go from blue to red as I approach my recliner in the morning. It's responding to the dust I kicked up when I first get up in the morning or return from running errands.
I vacuum the outside cloth cover over the filter weekly and remove it once a month to put in the laundry. I use a zippered net bag like the one women put their nylons in. I let it air dry before putting it back on, which is super easy.
I just received a new white filter which they recommend changing every six months

This filter is half the thickness of the filter that came with the unit. It gives the whole unit a strange shape and does inspire confidence in how well it work now. While there were a few different types of filters offered that fit this unit none of the descriptions stated that some were narrower than the filter that came with the unit. I am not pleased with the purchase. This filter should not even be sold to go with this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have 5 air filters in our house. We had ours running before, during, and 3 days after the recent fires in Los Angeles (until the power was cut). We got power back a few weeks later and turned them on again. We are still in an evacuation zone. Our house is still standing but had almost no smoke. Thank you BlueAir!

If you are someone who suffers from constant sneezing or irritation due to dust and pollen I HIGHLY recommend this product! I have this on next to my bed and set it to level 2 of 3 then place a tiny box with earplugs over the top middle to cover the light. This has greatly reduced nasal and throat irritation in the morning it helps me sleep more soundly by providing nice fresh and clean air to breathe. A wonderful product filtering out pollutants and dust! I replace it when the filter gets black and rinse out the blue cloth and and I have clean air once again! Filter lasts a long time before it needs to be replaced. I would say this is a must have for every home to be placed on the stand next to your bed! Buy it You Won't Regret It! 10/10

We realized too late that we moved in next to a long-term smoker. Our bedroom became unusable. We thought perhaps a carbon filter air purifier would do the trick, but it's just not strong enough for this kind of smoke. Besides that, it is a powerful, compact, great little purifier. Just not capable of dealing with strong cigarette smoke.

I originally purchase one while traveling and staying in hotel room. Then the covid came and when i arrived at my home I purchase 2 more. I know the units are not for that particular virus control but getting cleaner air was my goal. I have all 3 in the master bedroom where my wife sleeps. We are in separate bedrooms as a precaution during this pandemic. I have since ordered new pre filter and main filters. The nits are definitely whisper on low speed and for sleeping that is perfect. I placed a tissue on the sides to measure the draw, it was ok. I will probably be getting a larger performer in the near future for larger areas.

I have 3 Blue Air Cleaners (two 211+ models and one 411+ model). I have had them for about 6 months and am AMAZED and how much better the air quality is in our home. I have several pets, a fireplace, and lots of outside dirt from local farming activities in the house and these purifiers WORK! The larger ones (211l are in open great room areas a d the smaller one (411) is in my bedroom. You have to change the filters every 6 months so I enrolled in auto delivery, which saves you money on the filters and reminds you that it is time to change them, although there are lights that also tell you when it is close to being time a d when it is definitely time. I bought one air system and liked it so well that within a few days, bought the other two!
