I have used this brand/type of microwave from Sharp for years. I have had no problem with it except sometimes the rotation mechanism has gotten stuck. I try to clean it well in case that is it, and it doesnt happen often, but it is annoying. Otherwise, buttons are clear, heats well, doesnt take up alot of space
I would recommend this to a friend!

When it worked, it worked well. It stopped working within a year after we bought it. Fortunately Sharp seems to be willing to honor the warranty, but we're still without a microwave for the time being.

This purchase replaced a similar Sharp we purchased 20+ years ago. This new one is excellent and works great. It has new options not available in the older one. The great thing is that it fit perfectly in the area between wall cabinets and above the countertop.

I bought my first Sharp microwave of this model in 2003 and it worked consistently until the end of June this year, 2025. I had remodeled my kitchen 10 years ago and had that microwave built in. I was worried that I would never find a microwave to fit the space and was thrilled to learn the same model was still available. I bought it quickly, it was delivered and installed and I’m hoping this will be the same workhorse as my previous one was and I won’t have to replace it until 2047.

We purchased this OTC microwave 18 years ago and it is still working great. It’s easy to use and has everything you need for everyday use. We were thrilled to find out that SHARP still makes this microwave. We recently purchased this same model so when our current microwave does go it will fit in the same space with the same great quality.

We had this same model Sharp microwave for 16 years, used every day when we were home. Late in 2025 we started to have some problems, the door not always latching properly and some inside paint/coating wearing off. It still worked but slamming the door a few times to get it going was not good. We decided to buy ourselves a Christmas present, a new microwave. When looking at over the counter microwaves it was a surprise that Sharp that after 16+ years they still manufactured the same model we had. Knowing the average lifetime of a microwave is 7 - 10 years we knew that was the model we wanted. It was a plus that installation was not a problem. Unplugged the old microwave, removed two screws, tilted it and lifted it out. The new bracket was identical to the old one so we didn't have to use it. Reversed the steps and the new microwave was installed ready to use in less than 5 minutes. m We hope it will last as long as the old one.
