I'm very happy with the sound gear . Its my first one and I love the fact it goes everywhere with me. I play it low as to not impair my hearing . That allows the battery to last more than 8 hrs. I'm glad i made this purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for naps and cooking

I fell asleep wearing this. I laid down, told my house AI to set a timer and fell asleep.
Now the bad part.
Unfortunately the system shuts it self down before the battery is fully drained, this is bad. Stagnant charge is debilitating to a battery. This flaw lessen the longevity of this device.

JBL DOES IT AGAIN !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the JBL Sound Gear. It was very user friendly and easy to operate. It took me less than five minutes for me to learn how to properly operate the headphones. The bluetooth function connected flawlessly to several devices I used to test this function. It fits smoothly on the neck and did not feel awkward or out of place. The weight distribution of the Sound Gear fitted just right on my neck. The sound quality of the Sound Gear was crisp and clear. The four speakers located in this unit did a great job of providing a "surround sound" quality that I was very pleased with. Great job JBL!!! I would recommend the JBL Sound Gear to all my friends and family.

Really Cool Product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's for personal use yes. Mostly in more of a private and intimate setting, but they can also be used when you still want to be aware of your surroundings unlike the isolation of headphones or earbuds. For example biking or jogging. You can listen to your music in a surround sound like experience yet still not have your surroundings completely blocked out as they are with headphones/earbuds; which of course could be very dangerous when you can only hear your audio content pumping into your ear canal and not the school bus horn blowing or that sound of that dog bark getting closer... Yikes! Lol. I also think they will come in handy when doing most things involving your hands... Cooking, washing dishes, folding clothes, working on cars, cleaning, gardening, home office work, etc. You can listen to your audio content with your own personal surround sound experience, have no earbud/earphone fatigue, take hands free calls, and not be oblivious to what other things may need your attention. I wouldn't suggest use for private listening environments like work (unless you have a private office), public transport, or in any setting where your audio choice may disturb the people around you. Also good in a setting where you may have children around that you need to keep an ear open for. You will still be able to hear that loud bang or that high pitched little voice yelling your name like the world is about to end only to ask you can they have a cookie or some juice! Lol. I'm also sure that gamers and mobile video buffs will appreciate this device as well. Great for paring up with those virtual goggles people use. With the exponential expansion of mobile video content now and the direction it's headed in the near future with cable and satellite companies now marketing their mobile service and devices (cell phones, tablets, etc) to be bundled with streaming services on their devices this Soundgear pairs great as your own personal sound system. When connected to your latest big screen smart phone, tablet or phablet with that beautiful clarity they are a winning combination. It's a different experience but in a good way. Sounds great, light weight, useful, and just something cool to have that not many people even know about. Great volume, good bass, great clarity!

As soon as I took out the box all you can feel is a high quality made SoundGear. Soft to the touch , comfortable to wear and super easy to set up right out the box. I’ve tried many name brand sounds but this one has the rich highs and soft bass that leaves you speechless. Trust me you can’t go wrong with the trusted JBL brand products. Especially the new JBL wearable wireless sound speaker. I am truly loving this and I’m sure you will too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a cool product, I however would never use it other than one scenario, VR or AR is the only purpose I see for this device. honestly I'd never talk to someone on the phone on this nor would I ever wear this and also listen to music. cool idea, but not practical enough for myself. extremely niche product with minimal practical use.
