works great, after install troubles.

Bought this recently, and took me a few hours to figure out why it wasn't being detected at all. I bought this not knowing my motherboard did not have a 4x slot. but knew I could put this into a space x16 slot. it for some reason did not work in my top x16 slot, that normally a video card would be installed it. So I removed it and tried on the bottom slot. and it still wasn't picking up correctly in the computer, but I could at least see an unknown device/multimedia controller this time in the device manager. after installing the software it still had no device detected. looked around and found the drivers page. The pages claim that this is plug and play. but you still need to find the correct drivers for the correct card. after finding the correct drivers, and a reboot. everything seems to be working like it should.
*TLDR*
Can work in a 8 or 16x slot if you do not have a 4x. ( will still only run at 4x speed)
check device manager for unknown devices or multimedia controller with out drivers installed
make sure you have the correct drivers for the correct card.

Excellent and easy to install

Super, quick and easy easy install. Especially when you have the program already installed into your PC. Basically, it was plug and play. I had recently bought a HD60 S and with all the clutter with wires this was the best option. I already had the software installed. but if you do not have it installed, I highly recommend you get the driver installed or you will have issues till you do. Wish the price was a bit lower but all in all worth it

240hz 1080p passthrough not latency

Seit Jahren nutze ich bereits die 4K60 Pro MK2 Capture Card in meinem Dual-PC-Setup. Mit der 240Hz 1080p-Passthrough ermöglicht es mir, meinen Gaming-Monitor ohne jegliche Latenz direkt mit meinem Streaming-PC zu verbinden. Als Competetive Spieler und Content Creator ist dies für mich unverzichtbar.
Diese Capture Card ermöglicht mir ein nahtloses Spielerlebnis und eine reibungslose Übertragung meines Bildschirms auf den Streaming-PC, ohne Kompromisse bei der Leistung eingehen zu müssen. Durch die direkte Verbindung kann ich die volle Auflösung und Bildwiederholfrequenz meines Monitors nutzen, was für mich als FPS Spieler von entscheidender Bedeutung ist.

1440p 120hz passthrough issues.

I bought this product wanting to have the ability to still play at 1440p 120 hz when gaming on my Xbox Series X. This capture card is extremely finicky and requires me to re-set the resolution and frames every single day I turn my computer and Xbox on. Do not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please open a ticket at help.elgato.com
The colleagues should then collect the reporter
https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027964592-How-do-I-use-the-Elgato-Windows-Reporter-utility
and send instructions on how to read out the EDID of your display.
Then maybe we can make you a custom EDID. Ask for me (Victor) in the ticket.
