Card works, but lacks important features.

I bought the card about a month ago now; after picking up a 4k computer monitor, which I use for my PS4, meaning I needed to upgrade my capture devices from 1080p to 4k capture. I liked the HD capture software thus I picked up the 4K60 Pro MARK 2 to capture, having to use the 4k capture software. Right away I hit a few issues, nothing unexpected. The recording is on a delay. Meaning I can not play off the recording. No big deal, honestly, expected recording a 4k capture. Next is the real issue with the card. Can not control recording volume input. Meaning that my PS4 Pro is being captured at 100% volume. This is not a minor issue. All the volume it captures will peek on me, and there is no setting I can change to fix that, unless I change a setting on my PS4, a setting that does not exist. I have contacted support team and they suggested to lower the volume on my duel shock 4 controller, something not being used to send audio.
They claim that this is something that can not be fixed at all. Be it a hardware issue or a software issue is beyond me, the two are tandem. You must use Elgato software to effect the capture card, thus reviewed as one.
So buyer beware, the capture card is great for streaming and passthroughs. The software for the 4k capture works at best, but has issues that require third party fix, be it a mixer... One that can pick up HDMI video and audio, play with the audio then send back the video and audio while still being in 4k and low latency; or a video editing software where you take the video with out the audio and then take the audio files it gives you, because it does record both game and microphone audio as two induvial files and merge them together and lower the volume over the video editing software.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a couple of months ago. I initially used NDI but wanted to give lower latency to my viewers. The biggest pleasant surprise was that it allows me to use the video output on multiple sources. I don't have any other devices that allow me to do this and I am now able to stream and record a clean copy at the same time.

I use this together with my dual PC setup for streaming and also whenever I want to game from a console and stream it through my PC. I game on 1440 and stream in 1080, which is why I decided to go for the 4k60 PRO above HD60. It's easy to setup and works great. Love this product!

The best capture card I've ever used!

I made the switch to Elgato capture devices a long time ago when the Game Capture HD came out and haven't looked back, upgrading to the latest capture device with each generation or tech leap. The 4K60 Pro MK2 is no exception to this, bringing multiple game changing features to the table - the biggest of which for me is being able to use the same card with multiple apps at the same time! I'm gradually upgrading my setup to 4K ready for the next generation of consoles so to be able to future proof with this card is also a massive plus too
To allow me to record and stream at the same time using two different applications I used to have a dual capture device setup, but since getting the 4K60Pro Mk2 ive been able to streamline it into a single capture card solution thanks to the features of the new card, making my setup a lot tidier in the process too now I don't need so many cables!
The 4K Capture Utility software is incredibly easy to use, integration with other streaming applications is also very straightforward - it's genuinely been the best addition to the setup I've had in recent years

I got the product a while ago and I love it! It's super easy to install in your PC and easy to use. The recording looks amazing and you can even record in 4K. If I have to record at a event or somewhere else I'm using my 4K60 S+.
