Nice, but inconvenient layout of compartments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found it frustrating for the freezer drawers and frig shelves are not built fir capacity. A lot of wasted space. Hate that must open both frig doors to get into deli storage, and hubby upset he can't get crushed ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cools well but poorly designed. You have to open both doors in order to open the meat tray. Should be a split meat drawer so you only have to open one door. The ice dispenser sends ice shavings by the edge of the glass and onto the floor. Always a mess to clean up if you ever use ice.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are disappointed that this refrigerator is so small on the inside. Too much space is taken up by the interior water filter compartment and a sliding food drawer. Also the freezer compartment is divided into two areas thereby reducing the space for frozen items. Finally, there is no way to turn off the temperature lights on the exterior of the freezer door, the temperature readings stay on constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Mid-Entry Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a couple of variants of this model depending on the type of refrigerant used. They operate similarly. We have to be careful to ensure the right door remains closed. It often pops open when the left door is shut. Whirlpool insists this is normal. We had the exact model three months ago with some blemishes (waiting to be replaced by the one I am reviewing). It never had this problem and both doors sealed well.

Shelves slide out to reach items a the back. Only thing is the crisper drawers do not slide very well. Could do with a better type of rail.

Christmas fridge

Ice and water on outside door and finger print protection was on her wish list. This unit met all her wishes. Installed myself with no problems. Nice product so far.
