[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Whirlpool before that was tremendous. This model though is way too loud and the ice maker struggles to give ice. You can hear it trying! My wife is not happy with the loudness more than anything.

Terrible - only bad Whirlpool product ever had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivered 6-10-24 have had problems from delivery! Bottom drawer froze shut, ice maker is terrible - makes about 3 glasses of ice at a day, door open alarm goes off all the time for no reason!

Looks good

We got this about a month ago, I do love the counter depth, it looks very sleek. Glasses with a narrow opening are pretty much impossible to fill with ice without ending up with a fair bit of ice on the floor. The ice compartment is very small, once you fill a few glasses it's pretty much empty. It is much noisier (not all the time, on and off ) than our last fridge, not really sure if there is something wrong or if that\s normal. It's not very big inside but that size is our max. for a counter depth, glad we have a 2nd garage fridge for extra storage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However we can try to address the noise concern. Refrigerator noise has been reduced over the years. Due to this reduction, you may hear intermittent noises from your new refrigerator that you did not notice from your old model. Not very roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with the new house we purchased. It was a replacement for a Frigidaire that had the ice maker issues. Not a very good swap, this has small storage capacity especially in the freezer. Have to open both doors to open the large drawer.

Fridge broke within one month of arrival

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge back in March, waited for 6 months for it to arrive. We finally got the fridge early September & the fridge stopped working at the end of September already.
Technician came and advised we need to replace 4 parts !!! Very disappointed as we spent a lot of money on this fridge. We didn’t even get much use of it and it already stopped working.

Display needs work.....

Very nice fridge and seems to living up to our expectations so far. My only complaints are that the display constantly shows the "set" temps instead of the current temps. How would you know if there is a problem? Actual temp could be 10 degrees warmer and you'd never know it! Would also be nice if the display brightness auto-dimmed at night. Also, the display indicators aren't illuminated so you can't see if it will dispense water or ice in the middle of night without turning a light on! Also disappointed it doesn't offer crushed ice! I assumed they all did....live and learn, I guess. Finally, no simple way to disable the wheels so it doesn't roll forward when pulling on freezer drawer....and it does! You have to wind down the leveling feet at the front to lift the fridge off of its wheels. I'm sure there is a simpler way! Other than that, its performing perfectly and we're happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Way too Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased Model: WRF550CDHZ less than a month ago and although it functions as a fridge and freezer well, I would not recommend or repurchase another in the future. My biggest complaint is that it is way to noisy. There is an constant vibration hum. Many others report compressor or fan noise but I believe the source is the condenser. When running, which is often, the condenser unit must be either vibrating against the fridge walls, have a poor design or quality or be not have correct noise abatement. I might add this noise i NOT the condenser fan. That would be too simple. So if you are a favorite of 60 cycle hum or like model airplane noise in your kitchen, get this unit. BTW the ice dispenser also leaves a lot to be desired. (by design). At counter depth costs, I think there are better options.
