Don’t like cooktop.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a long search I finally chose this electric stove. It is great looking and has all the features I wanted. I received this stove just as the shelter in place took affect. I love baking in the oven, very large and accurate, although preheating takes a long time. I haven’t tried the convection yet, next on my list. Broiling is great. The black top is a pain because it shows every little spec. Do suggest ordering the stove top cleaner, does a good job. I would recommend this stove to anyone

Like stove! But.,,

Still hasn’t been resolved. We have another issue that needs to be fixed and haven’t even owned it 6 month’s! Shouldn’t have to pay for repairs out of pocket.

Decent range but a couple complaints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this during the middle of the pandemic so going into the store wasn’t an option. Our old stove quit working so we were having to research ranges online. The things I didn’t think to ask or research (and I wished I would have) are the color of the time display and the pre-heat time for the oven. The display numbers are blue and are very hard to see from a distance. Our old one had green and I never realized how different the two colors are. The pre-heat is incredibly slow. It takes 20+ minutes to pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. Our old whirlpool only took 9 minutes. Oh and it doesn’t have a plug in on the top or side. I miss that option as well.

Design flaw

My new Whirlpool 6.4cu. ft. was delivered yesterday. LOVE the look (fingerprint resistant stainless steel) as well as the technology. However, when I went to put my pots and pans in the storage drawer I was horrified to discover the drawer has only a 4" (at most) clearance. I have 3 frying pans and 4 sauce pans. I'll be lucky to get the sauce pan covers in the drawer. Whirlpool has an excellent reputation. I hope this significant design flaw is the only problem I encounter using the stove.

Replaced our whirlpool gold range which was excellent with this boat anchor.It is impossible to keep the thing clean.The switches for the elements are not the best so the mark on the dollarstore quality knobs doesnt always line up with the indents on the switches.If you preheat the oven to 400 or hotter turn it on and then go take a nap or mow the lawn until its hot. The drawer underneath is pretty much useless except for a few trays as it is so small.When the oven is on the front corners of the cooktop get hot,not warm,hot.
