Not as good as my old one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range for a kitchen remodel. We purchased it as a whirlpool package so all the appliances match. It looks nice and works well but it’s not as well built or has the features as our 11 year old previous range did.
Firstly, the bottom drawer feels flimsy when opening or closing it. (We actually upgraded to this model in the appliance store for the fact the drawer had a big handle and we thought it was better than the lower model).
Secondly, the range’s top heating elements really have to be put on high or medium high to get the element going. Once going they work well.
Lastly, the timer feature on the clock is terrible and that’s the feature I dislike the most. The timer only beeps once when the time is up so if you aren’t near the range you will miss the timer and burn things (which I have done 5 times already) so now I set another timer on my phone to ensure I don’t miss it. Also the timer does not allow you to have a plus one minute if it goes off and you need a minute or 2 extra. You have to continually reset the timer.
Overall even though this is new and looks nice my old Kenmore brand range was far superior and cost much less money.

Mildly dissappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whirlpool is not the same quality that I am accustomed to from the Whirlpool from 10+ years ago. There was no manual enclosed with range, only a quick start guide. More importantly, it takes far too long for the oven to reach the desired bake temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over all good range with one con

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range 6 weeks ago. Pros: I like the warm zone on the cook top and use it often. I also like the dual elements. I like the way it looks; nice stainless steel. The cook top is flat, smooth and not too difficult to clean (if I am regular about wiping it down). Cons: The warming drawer/storage drawer at the bottom of the range is quite small; basically worthless with about a 4" clearance. We live in a small space and had to figure out where to put my skillets & lids. The burner knobs are inconsistent: Top right knob has "HI" at the top, top left burner has LO at the top. The left side knobs are mirror images. I've become accustomed to it but it's not intuitive. Fortunately neither of these cons are a deal breaker. Overall, I am pleased with our purchase and can recommend this range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of it. But the glass top is harder to clean than my old glass top. Not impressed with the aqua clean feature. I boiled gravy over in the oven. I wipe off what I could and then ran the aqua clean feature. It did not come clean after running one cycle. I had to scrap and scrub hard and it still isn't totally clean.

Good stove, no manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm happy with my new stove, especially the oven. I'm a bit frightened of the glass top and worry about scratching it. I'm distressed that I can't get access to the manual in spite of efforts through the website. How am I to set the oven for delayed start and learn about the many features of the stove without the manual? I tried phoning and so far had no success.

Whirlpool Range makes MY world better
