[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the stove in Dec 2023, the glass top is already scratched, not a huge fan of cleaning the inside of the oven before using the aqua clean, feel it’s not worth the money we paid for it

Amazing Stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove came with a package deal for my new home and it’s a MAJOR upgrade to my old stove. I LOVE my new stove. It boils water in minutes and the heat stays consistent for more efficient cooking. I’ll Never Switch to another brand!

Roomy stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had my new Whirlpool stove for two weeks & being that it is summer I am not yet in my baking mode. So far however all seems to be good. The top has plenty of options for different pan sizes and the oven is much larger than my last Whirlpool stove that I had for 20 years. I also like the black stainless steel color.
The two drawbacks for me are the stove top is difficult to keep clean. My last one had a ‘bumpy ‘ texture on top which cleaned easier than this model. Then, due to the large oven, the trade off is a small drawer below, nowhere near as roomy as I was used to.

Aqua cleaning is terrible!

We purchased a Whirlpool 6.4 cu.ft. Freestanding Electric range with the Aqua steam self cleaning feature 3 years ago. It's is the worst cleaning system I've seen in my 50 years of buying ranges. We hardly get it dirty and this system does absolutely nothing. We have had a few Whirlpool ranges in the past along with the other Whirlpool appliances we have purchased and all were good. But we are very disappointed in this range. The size of oven and ceramic top is all good. The only reason we bought this range with this cleaning system is because the older cleaning system was not available. I hope Whirlpool has discontinued this Aqua system or still has the old system as we, after 3 years, are so fed up with this system we want to purchase another range but we may, after many years, have to NOT buy Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Should have bought a different range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate this oven for these reasons. (1) when you pull out the rack to either test your food or remove it, at a certain point the rack dips forward causing your food to slide to the front of the rack, and almost fall out of the oven. None of my ‘drop in” electric ovens ever did that and I have had 3 in the past 30+ years but none were ever a Whirlpool. The rack would always stay level the whole time you were pulling it out to retrieve your baked product. (2) If cooking on the cooktop while there is something in the oven, you are constantly being bombarded with hot air coming out of the vents on the top part of the oven door. (3) The front of the oven becomes VERY hot if they is something baking in it. I burned my fingers the first time I grabbed the handle to open it. My fingers were wrapped around the handle and hit the oven front. Now I wear an oven mitt every time I grab the handle to open the oven . My other ovens NEVER had the oven door become hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
