Best Can Opener I’ve Ever Used!

I was excited to try a new electric can opener. I had thrown out my old one because it didn’t work well, and I’ve been using a hand can opener since.
This one didn’t disappoint! It looks great on my counter next to my other stainless steel small appliances. It was easy for everyone in the family to use, from kids to grandparents. I love the removable cutting head, that makes it so easy to clean! Best feature ever!
My box included a bonus OpenMate Multi-Tool for opening bottles, pop top cans, and packages. That was a nice added bonus and also works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been living on my own since 2005 and have only ever had a hand crank can opener. This is the first time I’ve owned an electric one and I must say I am very pleased! I love stainless steel! It works very well and much less effort than the manual one. I find myself looking for cans to open just to see it in action. No issues with it at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this can opener. The stainless look is so sleek and shiny. It matches my stainless steel appliances perfectly. It is easy to use and very quiet. I love the magnet that removes the lids...even heavier ones! It has a nifty feature where you can easily remove the head to clean it. Basically press’s button and pop it right off got cleaning. I definitely recommend this opener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing little kitchen tool. Runs quiet, is smooth on all sizes of cans, a nicely hinged magnetic top catcher and so very easy to clean. Just perfect. To top it off, there was an included churchkey in the box, I haven't seen one of those in decades, and it has a blade integrated into the design for opening those heavy plastic cases. Well done Hamilton Beach.

Amazing product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new can opener! It opens cans in a jiffy which is what I prefer! It has a fast speed and holds on to the cans like a charm while I'm prepping my food. It's also not as big so it doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter. The best thing about this can opener is that it's stainless steel and it matches everything in my kitchen! It's a must have for sure!

It has been a long time since I parted ways with a can opener with an electrical cord on it.
It has been years of battery operated openers that dance and wobble around the tops of cans and then break and die before their time. Sick of the replacements, I then moved to a manual model that works well but I prefer a lot less effort when I have multiple cans to open.
This Hamilton Beach, lets me appreciate the quickness, reliability and power of a corded can opener. Once you place your can in its jaws and press the lever down it opens the can, shuts off and grabs the lid so you can walk away to do something else.
The opener comes with a low-tech manual multi-tool that slides into the back. This takes care of opening your craft beer bottles, and flipped around it will lift and open the tabs on aluminum cans. It is handy being stored on the back of a table top appliance, so you don't need to go searching for it in a drawer when needed. The tool also has a plastic package opener but I couldn't get it to work. I'm fine using scissors for something like that.
Other features included a slot on the back used to sharpen knives. It worked fine on a few knives. So that is handy. The can opening assembly pops off for easy cleaning and the appliance body has a place to store unused power cord. What more could you want in a can opener. It suits the bill for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've gone through 3 can openers in the last 1.5 yrs (not Hamilton Beach). Bought a new one just before Christmas 2021, and so far, it works great. I can't believe the poor quality of so many products these days - but, so far, Hamilton Beach hasn't failed us. Guess that'll teach us to buy other brands.
