Very nicely designed and constructed, looks pretty sleek on a counter top.
It is a corded design, though, so you will have to figure that out.
It works fantastically well. The can gets stuck to the magnet almost immediately, you push the lever down, the can starts rotating and stops automatically once the top is cut.
Extremely useful! One of the best Hamilton Beach products!

Beautiful multi purpose can opener!

Firstly, it’s nice to look at, super easy to clean and cuts beautifully! I was also very happy to see that it came with a nice quality bottle opener and a knife sharpener on the back which I use often, I would absolutely recommend!

An Opener That Opens Almost Everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice can opener that opens cans with ease and also has some additional features such as a bottle opener, an opener for those frustratingly, hard to open plastic clamshell containers, and a built-in knife sharpener, all of which are handy to have at hand and work pretty well as they should. The can opener head is also removable for easy cleaning and has convenient cord storage when not in use. This is a very nice machine that performs well and seems very well thought out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can opener/knife sharpener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hamilton Beach can opener/ knife sharpener in a very timely manner. It was well packed and the box was clear as to the contents. I used the can opener shortly after receiving it. It operated very smoothly and was easy to use. It was quiet as well. The top of the can adhered to the magnet and separated from the main can. The can top was not jagged, so no danger of cuts. The knife sharpener worked well also. I like the ability to store the cord inside the unit.

Sleek and Modern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Hamilton Beach SureCut electric can opener. It is sleek and modern, and looks absolutely fantastic sitting on my kitchen counter. The stainless steel finish perfectly matches my other appliances. It is easy to set up, and use. It works efficiently each time. I open cans multiple times a day. I open dog food cans, vegetable cans, etc. It opens cans cleanly the first try, and runs along the edges smoothly. Cleaning this can opener is simple. I quickly remove the opening mechanism, wash it, dry it, then put it back into place. This electric can opener also included a bottle opener that is conveniently stored on the back of the unit inside it's own little slot. I love it!!! I have quite a few Hamilton Beach appliances, and trust this brand to produce high quality, long lasting items. They have never let me down. Hamilton Beach appliances are affordable, and dependable. I highly recommend.

Absolutely Effortless Can-opening!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, I am one of those who has stubbornly never owned an electric can opener. And now I am an absolute convert to this previously disdained as, "just another kitchen-gadget" new absolute necessity! I had so much fun opening cans in the past couple days I've been overrun with vegetable soup! It absolutely effortlessly opens all can sizes and types, even the pull-tab type after the tab broke off, and also no problem with dented cans. It is also easily cleaned, and the cutting blade can be put in the dishwasher. The added bottled soda and beer top opener also works well, and is easily stored in a back compartment. No more digging through drawers for one of those. And no more tearing up hands with a twist-off. This electric can-opener is also sleek, attractive stainless, not using much room on the counter. And, no arthritis in my hands YET, but for sure, this fondness will grow with age.

Versatile

It’s a four in one product with the aforementioned ability to open your cans with ease, an included knife sharpener in the back, and an included magnetic bottle opener that slides into the machine to take up no extra room. There is also a letter opener function on the bottle opener.
I have some pretty bad arthritis in my hands and it’s become difficult to open cans (especially with the amount of food I cook!), so getting this was a no brainer. It easily adheres via magnets to the can and connects and opens it leaving no sharp ridges. Because it is magnetized I would mention that if you’re opening a very large and heavy can you may want to hold your hand underneath in case it is too heavy to hold it. It states this in the manual as well, which is an easy to follow guide and leaves no questions unanswered. It’s a relatively user friendly can opener as well. The first time I was a little intimidated but realized how easy it was after that.
I love how easy it is to remove the top of the machine and clean it without any problems. It has a sleek and attractive stainless steel design. It’s narrow enough to take up very little room on my counter top; and for something I use every day it is a great bang for its buck. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Good can opener

It's easy to get started on the can and with the magnet it takes the lid off without even having to touch it. The cutting unit on the can opener is easy to remove so it can be cleaned with ease. It has a built-in knife sharpener. It comes with a bottle opener. It is easy to open cans.
