A Can Opener with Many Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super electric can opener. I absolutely appreciate the magnet that grabs the lid and holds on while the can is being opened. Another nice feature is how the cutting part is easily removed to be cleaned...and lastly, the way the cord is stored at the back of the opener in a provided opening.

Nice opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice can opener. Love not having to struggle with a manual one anymore. The multi tool is great too. It works wonders for opening those thick plastic packages. It is also really nice that there is a slot on the back of the can opener to store it so it does not get lost in a drawer somewhere. Definitely recommend.

Super sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sleek and modern looking can opener. I love the storage on the back of the opener for a manual bottle cap opener. The fact that this has a knife sharpener is also a great addition. I found this can opener to be very efficient and quite quiet. It does a very nice job of opening cans without making a jagged mess.

Fantastic little opener!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a handheld can opener for years and switching to this electric can opener was such a nice change! First of all, it’s a very nice looking can opener. I love the stainless steel look and it would look nice left on someone’s countertop. It works so amazingly well! I’ve used it on small, regular and giant cans and it opens them with ease. It holds them up no problem and the magnet works to keep the lid from falling. I would highly recommend this can opener and can’t believe I’ve been without one for so long!

is lightweight and has a slim design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a manual, hand-turn can opener for years. My memories of my mother's electric can opener was that it was bulky and didn't always cut cans all the way around. The first thing I noticed about this can opener is how lightweight it is. It also has a very slim design. Even the magnet that catches the lid folds down. That's great for me because I will be storing this in a cabinet between uses. The stainless steel body gives it a more modern look than I expected. (I guess I was still thinking about my mother's old one.) The first time I used it, it took me two attempts to line the can up properly with the cutting blade, but then it made a clean cut all the way around with with very little force applied to the lever, and it caught the lid properly after cutting all the way around. It's pretty quiet but does make that recognizable gear-grinding noise when in use. The section that can be washed is very easy to remove and replace, although the first time I tried to remove it I pulled it up instead of sliding it forward. That removable part was an unexpected feature that I know I'll appreciate the more I use it. When I put it away, I just wrapped the cord around the body, but then I realized it has internal cord storage on the back. I was absolutely shocked at how easy it was to feed the cord into the back. Even though I keep it in a cabinet, I just like how it looks without a cord wrapped around it. Kind of a little detail but actually one of my favorite details. Overall, I would recommend this to someone wanting a lightweight, easy-to-use electric can opener.

Beautiful and functional can opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very attractive can opener with the streamlined design and stainless steel finish. I confess I don't use a can opener very often so don't keep one out, but if I did this would look great in my kitchen with my other stainless appliances and it has a small footprint. I do need a can opener that works easily and so far this has met my needs. I like that once you start it, you don't have to hold the can and the magnet will hold it after it finishes. You will probably need to hold the bottom of the can if tall and heavy as the manual states. The retractable cord storage is a nice feature. I like the knife sharpener built in and it worked well on the knife I tried. The OpenMate included is handy. The feature I will use is the pop top can opener. Sometimes if I have a metal cat food can with the pop top they are hard to lift up so this has come in handy to slide under it to start opening the can. It is very easy to clean the cutting assembly on the can opener when needed also. So overall I like the looks, function and features of this can opener.
