Awesome can opener with multi tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] used this for opening my can food it's quite and is quick very easy to use.I also needed some of my knives sharpened and this feature worked beautifully on my favorite knives.A plus for me also was the tool that also comes with it to cut plastic packaging that is a wonderful tool to have.Also must say I love it's stainless steel it looks very sleek.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not your granny's electric can opener!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't owned an electric can opener for many years, because the can openers I used to own were short and had weak magnets, so I always had to hold the can from underneath, and usually bring the can opener to the edge of the counter for anything larger than a standard 16 oz. can. I was pleasantly surprised, however, at how superbly the Hamilton Beach SureCurt Stainless Steel Can Opener performed. I have only opened round cans so far, but have had no problems opening both small cans of vegetables and tall cans of baked beans. The magnet grips the top of the can quite firmly, and although I do keep a hand below the can while it is opening, it isn't to hold the can, but merely to catch the can once the lid has been removed. The stainless steel finish is quite sleek-looking, and should look well in any kitchen.
But wait, there's more! The SureCut Can Opener also features a retractable cord, a built-in knife sharpener on the back, and a removable multi-tool which can remove bottle caps and pull up the lift tabs found on many cans. (My fingernails are very thankful for that feature!) As I get older, I'm trying to limit activities which put a great deal of stress on my hands, and so I will be quite happy to put away my hand-held can openers and switch to the SureCut Can Opener. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the way the can opener looks. It looks like a piece of sculpture and it serves some very useful purposes.
Can openers are probably one of the dirtiest items in a house.
The fact the cutter can go in a dishwasher, is a major plus.
The lid not falling into the food,, prevents any germs on the top, being transferred to the food!
The separate (easily stored and readily available) package opener for plastic packaging, was a stroke of genius! I can't wait to use it,
The retractable cord, helps keep my counter-top neat.
I really like the SureCut, and it is sitting on my counter, waiting for the next use. I cook a lot.

Excellent, multi-function can opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comes with a knife sharpener, a removable bottle/can opener and has a flip down magnet for the removed can lid. The top of the opener is not stainless steel but plastic so I would hand wash. The top pops off and can be washed completely. It must be clicked back in place for opener to work again. This top part is plastic so be gentle. The can opener engages nicely and stops automatically. The knife sharpener works well with just a couple light swipes.

Small Can Opener that can Tackle any Size Can

The can opener was easy to use and easy to clean. The magnet grips the lid solid which is nice. The cutting was smooth and easy. I have opened many different sized cans with ease. I praise Hamilton Beach for the space saving design.

Sleek & functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can opener is not only really nice and sleek looking, but it also does a great job opening cans! I love how quick it is and the fact I can open any size can in a snap. The only issues I've had so far was with the huge cans (like the giant sized enchilada sauce for example) because those were too heavy and if I didn't help support the can, the machine would want to tip forward. Besides that, it works well and you really don't need to hold most regular sized cans at all while they're opening. Sometimes I notice you do need to push down a little firmly on the lever to get the cans to start, but not a big deal. I like that the machine is pretty space saving and that the whole top piece can be removed for washing. I also like that it comes with the bottle/package/tab opener tool that stores in the back!

Cuts cans with ease

The magnetic arm folding out threw me at first but I like that it folds up for storage. I also like the convenience of the manual opener in the back for ease of access. Such a thoughtful design as well as sleek and stylish.
