So easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sure Cut can opener is perfect for me. So easy and simple to use. Even with 1 hand, as I have a broken wrist. It opens the can cleanly and smoothly the very first time. Is very sturdy, doesn't move while opening larger cans. Made of stainless steel, sure to last. My absolute favorite feature is the cutting unit is removable for a deep thorough clean. It includes an OpenMate tool for bottle tops, soda cans and those impossible to open hard plastic packages. My new favorite tool in the drawer.

One and it works great. I love the magnetic part that holds the top of the can. It helps to stop from making a mess, it works fast and looks good on the counter . I love this brand. I love the colors of the can opener. I’d definitely recommend and purchase again

Nice-looking opener, but we had a few problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I want to say is that the can opener looks great, very compact and stylish. We did have a couple of problems that might be attributable to user error. It was not open cans taller than the height of the opener and it was difficult to orient small cans that could be held by the opener while the top was removed.
It is very easy to clean, and we might be more successful the more that we use it, but we had great difficulty getting it to grab smaller can and often had to turn they can manually. I don't know if we have a defective one or if it's user error, but we will try again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Once can is secured-it works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can opener replaces a Hamilton Beach Smoothtouch™ can opener that wasn't working as well as when new, have had it for some time. First can I attempted to open was a pull tab can that the tab had broken. The can opener could not get a good grip on the can. The next can was a regular can that was opened as expected but fell when the operation was completed. The next can opened as expected and was held securely as intended. I'm not sure if it was operator error in the first two attempts. Overall, the can opener works well as expected. The look and compact size makes this a nice addition to my countertop. The OpenMate™ is a handy addition. The removeable cutting assembly for cleaning is definitely a plus. Something the Smoothtouch™ did not have. The 4-star rating is because there is a bit of a learning curve to make sure the can is properly secured. Once this is done the can locks in, opens without holding the handle, holds the lid & stops.

Solid opener with a very small footprint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this can opener! It has a small footprint, so it does not take up very much space on my very small counter by the stove. I have to say, the instructions are not all that helpful, I eventually figured out how it operated without them. While it is a little more noisy than I anticipated, I have no complaints because it is very solid for its size and opens cans quickly and cleanly! I also love the multipurpose opening tool, I will never struggle to get a nail under a soda can tab or need to ask for assistance from someone else ever again.

good looking can opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton beach can opener is super easy to use, it is quick and quiet and looks great on the counter. Its sleek design blends in perfect with the stainless steel toaster and is not obtrusive.
The magnet that that captures the lid folds under when not in use and the whole assembly comes off for cleaning. Great product!

Review of HB's SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach’s SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener is for me a good product when purchasing a new or upgrading your current can opener. Not only is it a can opener but it also includes a tool for bottle tops and hard plastic but I’m not sure if I would ever use it. Using the can opener was easy to use and opened any sized can with no problem. The top of the opener can get dirty and show but it can easily be removed and then either hand washed or put in the dishwasher. Some of the other things I like about this product are the arm with the magnet covering the shape blade when not in use, and I like that there’s a storage slot for the cord. I’m not confident that the can opener would survive a fall or drop without damage but I do believe with the proper care, this product could last for years and more.

So much easier than a manual can opener that can be a hit or miss sometimes. I really look forward to using this in the future and i know I will be using it a lot. I probably will stop using my manual can opener! So good.
