[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener is easy to use. I love the stainless steel look. It matches other kitchen appliances. It is also easy to wipe clean. I got to say this can open works so well. I just hold the can close and pull the long lever down. It opens the can. I use to struggle with others not wanting to go in the jaws and start cutting the lid. This one no more struggles, as it get it the first time. I love that you also get a multi-tool. That opens bottle tops, hard plastic packages, and pop-top cans. Overall I am very happy with the Hamilton Beach SureCut Stainless Steel Can Opener. I would highly recommend this can opener to have in your kitchen.

Great can opener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great can opener. It’s very sleek and modern looking and not at all bulky. I like that the top part comes off for easy cleaning. It’s easy to operate and removes the tops of cans with ease. I have used it with cans of all sizes and it accommodates them all with no problems. I will be throwing away my manual can opener and using this from now on.

Had problems with alignment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had problems getting the can aligned correctly to the cutting mechanism. My eyesight isn’t very sharp and that might be why I had so much trouble. It does cut nice and holds the can well. It’s also a very attractive opener on my counter. I’m sure as I continue to use it I will become more accustomed to the mechanism and learn how to place the can properly to open it.

Nice slim profile but has trouble opening cans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first electric can opener I’ve ever owned, so I was pretty excited to receive it. Upon unboxing, I was glad to see how slim it was, as I planned on leaving it out on the counter and didn’t want it to take up too much space. Setup was simple, just plug it in and it’s ready to go. I got to use it almost right away, as the cans of dog food I buy don’t have a pop top lid, and was excited to see it in action. I will say it works okay. It gets snagged a lot and stops itself, even on the smaller cans, no matter how firmly I hold it down. I have to reseat it several times before it will eventually finish. It’s definitely still better and easier than using a manual, but it needs to be a little stronger.

I have always had issues with them rusting, getting misplaced and being difficult to turn. This electric can opener is a game changer! It opens cans perfectly with absolutely no effort from me. I love that it holds the can until you're ready to grab it. The detachable parts make it so easy to clean. This can opener is the perfect size and does not take up much counter space at all. That also makes it easy to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach SureCut can opener is a very versatile can opener. It can do tall cans. I have even done a dented can and it opened it with no problems. It will hold the can from start to finish. It will not drop it until you release it. I have even done real heavy cans and it stays standing up. Well balanced unit. It is so well engineered it comes with a bottle opener that not only opens bottles it opens tabs on cans and has a knife blade that cuts plastic frozen food bags.

All the Bells and Whistles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had another can opener from this brand but this one is a great upgrade! Hamilton Beach definitely stepped their game up with this one. The stainless steel top is remarkable, and did I mention how it’s removable for washing?! This helps me for times when a can of tuna spills on the top and now I don’t have to tilt the entire can opener over the sink to wash. Very light-weight but can hold (on its own) cans as large as 28oz easily. The icing on the cake for me was the retractable cord. This is a game changer when short on space. Who likes wrapping cords around appliances anymore? Oh and it also comes with a separate can opener for popping tops and bottles as well. Overall great product and I can’t wait to get more use out of it.

It feels a little lightweight and the finish is a little bit cheap looking, in my opinion. But hey, it's a can opener and it opens cans easily and efficiently, so I can't complain too much. Overall it's a decent can opener and gets the job done.
