Shiny new can opener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It chops, it cuts, it slices, it dices......No. It doesn't do any of that. It's a can opener. It does however open cans so there is that. This unit is actually pretty nice. It's far more pleasing to the eye than my old one so that is a plus. It's somewhat quieter in operation as well. I've used it on most of the common sizes of cans people will encounter on the regular, from small like tomato paste up to the fatter and heavier cans such as whole tomatoes etc. No signs of struggling from the motor like slowing down or bogging down which is encouraging from a longevity standpoint. The seperate bottle opener tool is a nice touch but does lack the piercing type of opener for stuff like large tomato or pineapple juice cans which I do need on occasion. Two things for me that kept it from getting 5 stars besides the aformentioned lack of triangular stabbing implement. First, it would benefit from a few ounces more weight in the bottom of the base to prevent it from tipping forward when faced with opening a large/heavier can. Lastly, the lever mechanism used to pierce/activate seems a tad lightweight. Not flimsy or ill fitting but it does feel a little "less than" if that makes sense. Time will tell on this part. Overall a good looking and well performing unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach SureCut Can Opener was so easy to set up and use. I loved the height as it is great for larger cans which we use them often. The opener was extremely smooth in cutting with no bumping along the top of the can. Once it was done cutting, I found there to be no jagged edges to the lid or the can itself. Loved this opened!

It is made from stainless steel with a very sophisticated structure with well construction. It is easy to clean and it is very pretty. The quality is very good. Produce safe edges. It is one of the best can opener that I ever had.

Amazing game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always used hand openers and they always leave that sharp edge which is frustrating with little kids around.
This product is great! It opens a can so freakin fast, you'll have dinner ready in no time. No sharp edge and so easy to use. Only con is the cord is a tad short, but wouldn't stop me from buying this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Hamilton Beach Surefire Can Opener in my kitchen to open all of my cans. The extra tall size made opening large cans so easy. The included bottle opener was an added bonus because it made opening bottles and push top cans so much easier to use because of the end and it easy to store it away
